Glad to see "Oliver" in your top 5 for 1979. It was a masterpiece from Anita Skorgan.

Damn, my name is not Oliver.

Casanova >>>>>> Oliver.

Actually 1977 is my favourite pre-00s year, right down to the posh British bored Royal Albert Hall audience

Some years from 70s were better, than another in my opinion, but I love all from them.

[1970 - 1985] were the best period in Eurovision history.

The best Eurovision song from 1956-2000 is Tu Te Reconnaitras from 73

Can't wait to hear what you have to say about 1977! Tu te reconnaitras is gorgeous I agree  It's too hard to say what's my favourite old song though, I love all the old contests. Italy 1984, I Treni Di Tozeur by Alice & Franco Battiato is up there though:

I don't like Tu Te Reconnaitras.

Irish singer Maxi is my # 1 in 1973.

About my favourite old songs: It's seems impossible, but maybe this list:

"Poupee de cire, poupee de son", "All Kinds Of Everything", "Oliver", "Do I Dream?", "Knock Knock Who's There"
