Mashup of I'm In Miami Bitch and Let the Bass Kick is probably gonna enter top 40 this week. This led me to question: which mashups were in top 40 before? I remember David Guetta vs The Egg and Toca's Miracle was actually mashup too. Is that all?

The version of "Show Me Love" that charted earlier this year was a mash up between Robin S "Show Me Love" and Laidback Luke & Steve Angello "Be".
There was a mashup of Layo & Bushwacka's "Love Story" with a house track called "Finally" that made the Top 40 near the start of the decade, plus Flip & Fill ft Kelly Llorenna's "True Love Never Dies" is based on a mashup of Rank 1's "Airwave" with some female vocal song.

As made by the wonderful Phil n Dog. There was also a full release for 'Horny as a Dancy' (Mousse T vs Dandy Warhols) credited to Mousse T but actually produced by Loo & Placido.

Others released include that disgusting desecretation of Strings of Life a few years back and the Sugababes recreating Girls on Top's 'We Don't Give a Damn About Our Friends'.

Always hated that crap vocal version of 'Love Story'. Others in this category include the pointless addition of Degrees of Motion's 'Do You Want It Right Now' to Gat Decor's excellent 'Passion' and some gash put over the top of the already abhorrent 'Children' by Robert Miles.

The ladyboy is mine - The Stuntmasterz (Modjo vs. Brandy & Monica) #10

And "Bruised water" narrowly missed, ending at #42
