December 8, 200915 yr 20 | The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition 19 | Muse - Uprising 18 | IKO - Look What You've Done To Me 17 | The Horrors - Sea Within A Sea 16 | Vampire Weekend - Cousins 15 | Phoenix - Lisztomania 14 | Animal Collective - My Girls 13 | Kong - Leather Penny 12 | The Drums - Let's Go Surfing 11 | Dan Deacon - Build Voice Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, Horrors and Phoenix are all in my top 20. Must and Dan are pretty good too. I liked 'I Go Surfing' for a bit but I got bored of it after awhile, prefer their newie. Only listened to the Vampire Weekend song a couple of times so far, seems good enough...
December 8, 200915 yr Author Thanks for the comment Mark, you seem to like a very good amount. Look forward to your albums of the decade. Thanks to you to Jonny, hope you're liking it so far. Brother Sport is
December 8, 200915 yr Author 10 | Frank Turner - The Road FjkqfKBsLR8 One of my artists of the year and definitely my discovery of the year, found out about him in the summer from Rich. A great singalong song this one. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 09 | The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Come Saturday FjYFSyVF1Ks When I first listened to this band I didn't really get the fuss, but I listened again and realised their brilliance. The first three songs on the album are all amazing, this is the second, it is amazing. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 08 | Julian Casablancas - 11th Dimension f_h5DMHh5_M This song is so fun, it is a shame the album didn't match up to it and this was by far the standout track. Brilliance. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Right, I'm going to have to listen to Frank Turner. 'Come Saturday' is great, but it's my least favourite of theit three singles.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 07 | Colour - Unicorns s7sJO-ctMwo I doubt anyone on here has heard this, but I love it. They have split up now but this is from their EP earlier in the year. Youtube only had live versions. If you want to listen to the recorded version go here: http://www.last.fm/music/Colour/_/Unicorns Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 06 | Metric - Gimme Sympathy LqldwoDXHKg A brilliant single from my favourite album of the year, Metric could do no wrong this year. Great video aswell, Emily  Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.

I would listen now but Paramore takes priority 08 | Superb. Agree, the album was a letdown in comparison 07 | See response to No.9 06 | Excellent. Really love this. Possibly my favorite of theirs
December 8, 200915 yr Author 05 | Animal Collective - Summertime Clothes GxhaRgJUMl8 Amazing song from the critically acclaimed Animal Collective, their third and final entry. The album has grown over time, I now think it is phenominal and regret not including it in my decade countdown. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 04 | Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero P8m55NDHvPY This song really caught my imagination after previously liking the Yeah Yeah Yeahs but not to a greta degree. This really got me into them, absolutely awesome. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr You only found out about Frank this summer :o I love how when you first listen to Frank it is like the music is an old friend, my old friend Frank, such a legend. Anyway, 'The Road', great track. Sea Within A Sea is also phoenominal.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 03 | Paramore - Brick By Boring Brick A63VwWz1ij0 Brilliant song, probably the best thing they've ever done. Rich describes how good the album is very well in his countdown. Haterz gonna be hatin' but they can fudge off. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 02 | Metric - Help, I'm Alive we_czU9sJ3g Had this since late 2008 but it was officially released this year. An excellent song and another notification of how good everything Metric did this year was. Stunning. Edited December 8, 200915 yr by Ashford.
December 8, 200915 yr Author 01 | Bon Iver - Blood Bank 774mOmdKtZM This song is stunning, and it goes a long way to showing how much I love Bon Iver that this porbably isn't my favourite track of his. A surprising choice maybe? It wasn't officially released as a single but it was the title track from his EP which is good enough for me. It is just gorgeous.
December 8, 200915 yr 05 | Not heard. Will listen shortly 04 | Brilliant. Unpopular choice but I do prefer 'Heads Will Roll' 03 | Amazing. Can't fault it. 02 | Brilliant, grown to love it a lot more in recent months 01 | Will listen shortly. Thoroughly enjoyable countdown
December 10, 200915 yr Fantastic number one, not massive on Bon Iver but 'Blood Bank' is very good. Also good to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric and moreso Animal Collective in the top 5.
