December 14, 200915 yr I think Iraq is a better place now than it was under Saddam, BUT no country has the right to meddle in another country's internal politics, unless that country's leadership is committing major crimes against humanity (and as corrupt and sadistic as Saddam was, he was not carrying out systematic purges of the population, so his actions did not qualify as major crimes against humanity). Plus, it goes without saying that the leader of a so-called democracy should not be allowed to outright LIE to its people about motives for going to war. I do think there's a strong argument for Blair being tried for war crimes.

Also, look at what's happened Post-Iraq with US corporations basically being allowed by Bush and Co to STEAL from the Iraqi people like a bunch of fukkin' looting scum.... As myself and Tyron have pointed out, this was by design, not by accident.... Under conditions of Martial Law, you can shoot looters.... Pity the UK and US armed forces didn't shoot all these Oil Company workers and "Security Consultants". Parasites..... <_<
December 14, 200915 yr To try and say he was getting rid of a tirant, then what about Mugabe,Kim Jong Il etc, oh wait a minute....no oil in dem places. Add to that Burma, China, Saudi Arabia.... Oh, it's okay to oppress people if we're all actually doing lucrative deals with them innit....? I mean, what's the oppression of women in Saudi Arabia so long as we get cheap oil and can sell them arms....? What's the oppression of millions of Tibetans so long as places like fukkin Primark can continue to sell us cheap, sh"tty clothes manufatured in Chinese sweatshops by women working 16 hour shifts for a fukkin' bowl of rice a day.....? <_< Fukkin' Capitalism... The biggest evil on Earth..... The ONLY mistake that Saddam made was in p!ssing off America by invading Kuwait in 1990, and the only reason he did that was because the Kuwaitis were a bunch of selfish, greedy b/astards who wouldn't forgive the debt that Saddam had run up protecting their asse(t)s from the Ayatollah....
