exactly.... a poll set up by someone with a cripplingly low level of knowledge on his/her girlbands :rolleyes: What a laughable list.... Chronic Kitten? LMFAO.

To be fair, including Bananarama in a poll which is supposed to include 44 of the biggest girl group hits this decade would be pretty laughable. They may have paved the way for Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, Atomic Kitten etc. but to say they've had much success this decade would be an overstatement. I'm not sure they've had a proper hit, or top 40 album, in my lifetime. They were at their peak when my parents were young. Atomic Kitten, on the other hand, have had their fair share of success over the last 10 years.

 

I'm not saying this because I don't like them, they're alright. I didn't listen to "Drama", but "Viva" was a decent album, if a little generic in places. They just seem to suffer from ageism, which leads to lack of airplay. There's no reason why "Love Comes" couldn't fit on radio playlists. It's the same for Beverley Knight fans these days, radio wouldn't even touch her with a 2009 #1 artist featuring on her single.
