B) Finally we get to see the parkour/freerunning movie produced and written by Luc Besson and directed by yet another one of his protoges Pierre Morel (who was involved with transporter and danny the dog, no surprises there!!!!). Think this is gonna be quite cool, even if it was slightly cheesy and featured lots of london gangsters living in glasgow think it will still be alright, well just as long as Jimmy Fallon doesnt turn up  http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/68/David_Belle.jpg [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3xAc9hdyBs.swf you might remember the Channel 4 documentary "Jump London" and the bbc trailer with the bloke who rushes home to watch his fave tv shows (over the top of london's buildings ) well its the same dude in this as well!!! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/34/Spacechase-ripjump-small.jpg :even if you cant understand french look at him go [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X18-rLcheL8.swf
July 13, 200619 yr infact AMAZING film. Really enjoyed this although it wasnt something I would normally see as it had subtitles and I had heard nothing about it. Really amazing scenes at the start when they go through the ghetto area with the music in the background :D. Some of the moves that they do is mindblowing (eg when he jumps through the glass pain above the door!!). For anyone who likes action packed movies with elements of scarface and bruce lee make sure you check this out!!
July 13, 200619 yr Oh I remember the Parkour documentary that aired a few years back and I thought it was atounding the things they could do. I must see this at the next opportunity :D
July 13, 200619 yr While the action sequences were superb, the story itself is a total rip-off of "Escape From New York" with some vague Orwellian/Cyberpunk dystopia pretentions..... And some of the acting is just plain DIRE (even worse than Jason Statham in "The Transporter" films)...... Three stars from me, pretty much all for the stuntwork....
July 13, 200619 yr Author While the action sequences were superb, the story itself is a total rip-off of "Escape From New York" with some vague Orwellian/Cyberpunk dystopia pretentions..... Hamlet???

Hamlet??? No, I actually expect them to either get some acting lessons or for the producers to get proper actors to do all the actual 'acting' stuff and have these other blokes as stuntmen... I'm frankly amazed you've not seen "Escape From New York" Tiger, it's been on TV about a hundred times.....
