Hello Children,

 

After discussions with Tyron I have decided to step down as BJSC mod.

 

I feel really bad letting Tyron and Phil down after trusting in me in the first place but as many of you will have noticed I haven't beeen around here much at all since I started uni as I havent really had time. That combined with my ever dieing passion for the contest which imo is past it's best days for various reasons and I feel like someone else would be able to do a way better job.

 

Obviously I'll be sticking around BJSC but I dont think it's fair to carry on in my current position when others can do better and will probably be more up for it than I am now.

But seriously, this is quite sad tbh but to be fair there's gotta be the person who is fully (well, 'fully' is impossible, just do their best) committed to this job in the mod team. I guess only Phil and Tyron (and probably future-mod-of-everything Aaron) will stick for long. But who knows.

Get in line plz. I kind of changed my mind on this and i'd like to try as well :o Whether it is mine or not... at least i won't bother thinking about it again :heehee:

I'd be tempted to re-apply for the mod job myself but this seems like a much bigger job than when I was in charge - there are some changes I'd love to implement to keep the contest interesting because it has lost a bit of spark recently I agree, but they'd all go down like a lead balloon (a monthly banlist of three uber-cheap songs would be one of them :kink:) so I won't be reapplying - Tom for the win!
