another cool film that finally being released over here next month. just so hope this comes into my cinema!!!! :yahoo: B)

พนม ยีรัมย์ :thumbup: ต้มยำกุ้ง;

Kham (Tony Jaa) grew up with elephants in Thailand. Elephants are majestic creatures, bred for peace, but prepared for war. When an evil Asian gang kidnapped the bull and the baby elephant during a festival and smuggled them to Sydney Australia, Kham must travel to a foreign land, and unravel a conspiracy that will reach into the highest strata of Australian law and business circles. With only his Muy Thai fighting techniques, and a disgraced Thai-descent police sergeant, he must reclaim his elephants, and his heritage... Against almost impossible odds...

3 stars in the times, but brilliant fight scene!!! great action
I really liked "Ong Bak", but this film just sounds totally the same thing, just replace a sacred statue of a God with some sacred elephants and you've pretty much got the the same film to be honest. :lol: :lol:

well it is being put out as Ong-bak 2 in some markets even though there is an Ong-bak 2 coming along soon (along with Bodyguard 2 :thumbup: )

then again with Tony Jaa in the film suppose you could watch the same plot over and over again if his fight scenes are totally ultra!!!

Yeah, but the bloke cant act to save his life.... :lol: I mean, he's seriously bad, almost Van Damme bad.... :lol: Mind you, unlike Van Damme, at least he can actually do serious kick-boxing. I reckon he'd snap Van Damme in two like a dry twig....

he didnt really act, didnt really say much. which is for the best. however would have been so much better trying not to reach an international (that meaning north american) market and keeping it all in Thai.

where the hell did they get those Aussie actors from? off the streets? i suppose you can let off Petchtai Wongkamlao for not being able to speak english (i think it looks like he learnt all his lines without knowning what he's saying) as he had to be in the film as he's the big thai star. but the rest :puke2:

one film that would have so much worked better on the small screen with a disc from cd-wow that had subs and a Cantonese dub on it :lol: :lol:
