Me and Chris are (hopefully) going to stick to this and will try to bring a mix of established and lesser known bands for everyone to discuss.

I've decided to start with Million Dead, they've split up now but front man Frank Turner has achieved a phenomenal amount of success in recent times with his solo work. This band combined elements of punk, post-hardcore and a maybe a bit of hardcore to great effect and it ended up being awesome. They released two albums, firstly A Song To Ruin in 2003 and then Harmony No Harmony in 2005. My favourite is definitely the latter but the first is by no means bad.

Enough of my rambling, listen to these three for awesomeness.

I only have 'A Song To Ruin', I like it though, Frank's solo songs are definatly better, but doesnt mean Million Dead arent good, they arent the best post-hardcore band though (they are no Hundred Reasons or Reuben), I might have to check out the second album sometime soon.

'Smiling At Strangers On Trains' is a great track.
