Up to midnight last saturday take that have omce again managed to sell over 1 million albums in a 12 months period, sales for last year

The Circus 531,000

Ultimate Collection 172,500

The Greatest Day Live 312,367

That totals 1,015,867

This week the live album should sell near enough 100,000, the circus 18,000 and ultimate collection 5,000 which would add roughly another 123,000 to that bringing 2009 total to about 1,140,000 give or take.

To that we can probably add about 500,000 in total and a huge sold out concert, what a year for them, well done lads is what i say and long may it last.

And chances are they will possibly sell another 300,000 albums next at the lowest between the three album but sales will mainly come from the live album. Id love a new album at the end of next year but i cant see it happening until the 2011.

Don't forget also ... the '20th Anniversary' album they're supposed to be working on towards the close of 2010 with Robbie that has been 'referred to' in the Mirror! :puke2: 'Fraid if true it'll probably be the first TT record this time that I may abstain from buying. I'm sure if I'd been with a partner for 20 years (the first 7 of which were supposed to be 'hell' I don't think I'd want to celebrate it.) I suppose money talks to all five of them.

I doubt that will ever happen to be honest, id much rather a new take that album with robbie having no part.

The live album has sold 55.3k copies up until close of sale tuesday night so i think it will safely pass 100k again this week and is number 6 again in todays midweeks, the positions for number 5-8 is extremely close as snow patrol are number 8 on sales of 55.1 and robbie is number 7, so take that wont be lower than number 8 on sunday and be as high as number 5.
