Hot Press magazine have released a special edition magazine for 2000-2010, featuring the top 250 Irish albums of all time, as voted on by more than 50 Irish musicians. Enya's Watermark album was ranked 52, and The Celts was ranked 237 in the poll.

More good news for Enya, her song 'Only Time' was voted 'Song of the Decade'.

I say cheers to The Trio......

The highest one was #52? I think that's shocking personally, considering Enya is Ireland's second biggest export after U2! Only Time being made the song of the decade sort of redeems this though. ^_^

I agree that Watermark (my favourite Enya album) should be the highest on the list. But, only 52????????? It should be top 5! I'm surprised at The Celts being there.

It's great that Only Time gets so recognised but there are so many Enya songs in the last decade that I prefer lol.

I'd like to see the rest of this list tbh. I didn't even think there were enough Irish artists to fill 250 slots. :kink:
Yeah I'd like to see the rest of the list. I'm hoping 'Babes in the wood' by Mary Black is up there. And Macalla by Clannad should be there too. Oh and 'Whisper to the wild water' by Moya.
