March 23, 20187 yr Medical science says weed is has some pretty shitty side effects. So shitty it was made illegal That's not why it was made illegal. It was made illegal 100 years ago because hemp could challenge Rockafella's paper empire. Therefore, oops, big business goes on an ati-weed RAMPAGE. The health benefits of the Maria are HUGE and unbelievable. Compare to alcohol and fags. Cancer, disease, lung cancer, liver and kidney failure, death from withdrawal. Hmmm. When IS that white knight government going to come charging in on its trusty steed with the ban hammer? Wait. The puritans TRIED in the US on RELIGIOUS grounds. Lol. Moonshine says hi.
March 23, 20187 yr An article that may be of interest https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/w...a-a8056186.html More than 30,700 Americans died from alcohol-induced causes in 2014. There have been zero documented deaths from marijuana use alone Marijuana appears to be significantly less addictive than alcohol Marijuana may be harder on your heart, while moderate drinking could be beneficial Alcohol is strongly linked with several types of cancer; marijuana is not Both drugs may be linked with risks while driving, but alcohol is worse Several studies link alcohol with violence, particularly at home. That has not been found for cannabis Both drugs negatively affect your memory — but in different ways. These effects are the most common in heavy, frequent, or binge users Both drugs are linked with an increased risk of psychiatric disease. For weed users, psychosis and schizophrenia are the main concern; with booze, it's depression and anxiety Alcohol appears to be linked more closely with weight gain, despite weed's tendency to trigger the munchies All things considered, alcohol's effects seem markedly more extreme — and riskier — than marijuana's basically marijuana is bad but no worse than alcohol really and that is legal.

Now I'm confused - if pot & other drugs were legalised, then the gov't would therefore be in control of production & sale of it - but I thought, to you, gov't control of anything is anathema?
March 24, 20187 yr Would it? Would it though? Also I am not a Republican. I do not trust government and its corrupt ties to policing business. I also think we must break the back of grotesque capitalism to advance as a species. These things have nothing to do with legal marijuana. I am also alp about nationalisation, soooo?? I think that bizarre point was just a strange and rambling excuse to use the word anathema

March 24, 20187 yr No. I am not a capitalist. I support nationalisation. I would have no problems with the government in charge of the maria. But I WILL have a problem with the substances they and big business add like they did with tobacco.
March 25, 20187 yr No. I am not a capitalist. I support nationalisation. I would have no problems with the government in charge of the maria. Maria?
