July 16, 200619 yr Author more info: In 1998 she was honored by two governments in two days: on April 30 her home province awarded her the Ordre national du Québec, and on May 1 she became an Officer of the Order of Canada Because of her "sharp-looking" smile, Celine was known as "Vampire Queen" in high school :lol: Husband mortgaged his house to fund Celine's first album when she was an unknown 12-year-old. She received a star on the Canadian Walk of Fame in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (June 25, 2003 Estimated in 2006 to have sold 220 million albums during her career Appeared at the benefit concert "A Tribute To Heroes" singing the song "God Bless America" in dedication to the families, friends, victims, & heroes of the World Trade Center tragedy. December 22, 200618 yr Author Oh yeah but don't forget her music is huge in the french market as well and she's been in the business for 25 years so if u add all things up it doesn't surprise me really.
