I really like that Albanian song after a few listens. :o Can't see it troubling the top ten, but wouldn't be shocked to see it qualify and finish 16-20ish, which I suppose is pretty standard for them.

Ladbrokes currently have Darin favourite to win Melodifestivalen at 6/4, followed by Peter Joback at 4/1, Salen al Fakir (6/1), Alcazar (8/1) and Andreas Johnson (9/1).

 

Darin is also 10/1 to win the contest for Sweden and 4/1 to finish in the top three.

1/200 for The Netherlands would suggest it's an overwhelming favourite that can't possibly be beaten...200/1 on the otherhand would suggest it's an absolute no hope :lol:

 

I don't think any of these are winners frankly, certainly not Hera Bjork's as Europop never does well now...at a push I'd say Norway and Denmark might both have a slim chance, if Norway are conveniently drawn to perform last, maybe a huge chance :heehee:

Whilst I love Denmark and Iceland, I don't think they have a great shot at winning tbh. Norway... well I suppose they'll have the home advantage, but even my 7/1 is very generous I feel. The rest haven't a cat in hell's chance.

I actually think Armenia have a shot at victory this year in all honesty! The playing field's pretty poor thus far, and Armenia isn't quite ethnic enough to put off juries and televoters in the West, so...

I think you're all MUCHLY underestimate Finland. :o As i read in some blog it is quite similar to Fairytale with folk motives and potentially amazing performances (judging on Euroviisut) :wub:

I don't think Norway has much of a chance as a lot of people hate it as well as a load of people loving it. I'm surprised to say this, but I think Denmark has the best chance of the songs so far. In the end, they will come 2nd to the UK
