Danny's song is part Italian /part English. How come he's never had to change language and Darius hasn't had Italian since he nailed its diction and intonation so completely first week?

 

He was so good, someone wrote that Darius had a cheat there too because he was half Italian. Err no .....that's Paulo Nutini.

I really love that version now. 'Granada' isn't one I've ever liked but I'm prepared to be won over.

I had to youtube it and even then I cant say I am familiar with it, probably i wil recognise the bit he performs as they seem to use a well known bit..I notice that welsh bass-baritone Bryn T has done Granada,

as usual I will be peeping round the door and not appreciate it till tomorrow.

Mum liked it and used to goaround the house singing it. Even in those days when I was little she used to never get both the words and the tune right. Lovely, happy sound though - and she did have a nice voice - just not accurate. Some of the words are la la lala ahhh dum dum. I'll never forget them.

I can't imagine how daunting it must've been for Darius to sing Nessun Dorma for one of the world's finest tenor first time.

 

Now he's got to sing one of the greatest Mexican songs in Spanish to a Mexican, who's sung it professionally and probably a number of times.

Granada's a big passionate song. Darius should just let rip, remembering the feel of the flamenco of course..

Danny hasn't had a difficult song yet. He doesn't need to worry. The McFly fans will see him through to the final.

 

Marcella's had 3 of the hardest arias to sing, granted she hasn't had to sing the hardest parts of them but she's done amazingly well. I still think there's a sort of handicapping system in operation and Darius and Marcella have the lowest ones and so get given bigger challenges to try to lessen the gap between them and the others.
