I must admit that that interview with Kym marsh made me feel like crying, how ever much more has he got to put up with especially as whether she or the Sun like it, he is talented, yet he is portrayed constantly even after 8 years as pop idol reject, everything else like singing at the albert hall, (something she will never get to do, not even a No.1

apart from hearsay, I dont know how he sticks it. The timing of that article is relevant too I feel.

I don't think Kym's comments were helped by the journalists description of D at the start. With it saying "she giggles" it strikes me she was just having a laugh, which of course this loser has to seized upon. She may well have said similar things about other contestants that weren't featured, or even finished her description of D with a huge compliment, which they conveniently didn't feature!

 

For the life of me though, if you are entering a competition, I can't understand why you wouldn't want to take it seriously, and try to win? If not, then what's the point of entering? People are often mis-quoted, or their comments are taken out of context, and I think Kym is actually probably a really nice person, so until it's proved otherwise, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. The Scottish Sun on the otherhand, just goes on to priove what a piece of trash it is. Not only is it not worthy of wrapping around my chips, I wouldn't wipe my arse on it! :angry:

 

Please forgive my candour, it is truly how I feel about that rag and it's blinkered, tired and and lazy journalists, who are obviously influenced/instructed in what they are to say about certain people.

have to say it could have been made to look worse by the journalist, as I posted it did sound a bit tongue in cheek - but he has made her look as if she is beign quite childish, and rather racist... not often you can get away with calling someone a @insert nationality of choice@ plonker.

Its a shame the Scottish dont get behind their talents, Susan Boyle has had nothing but ridicule in the media, never mind she has a lovely voice

but only said Darius was singing in spanish..perhaps Darius wants to keep it a suprise,

I don't think this is doing me much good. If he lacked talent and that was the reason people are so against him then, as long as they did it fairly, I'd understand. I just get so cheesed off at people trying to put him down for the sake of it.

I dont actually mind Granada, watched Lanza and Domingo etc- I tink it would rather suite Darius persona wise, Lanza was in uniform in the clip I watched, dont know where the flamenco comes in,

 

We will know tomorrow. I'm finding Thursday's and Friday's hard work. I'd be better if I didn't think they wanted to get him out.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but D will be singing in Spanish this week!

If Kym Marsh did make those comments she deserves nothing but contempt.

Like some one has already said, I can never understand why Scotland doesn't give support to it's home grown talent, and if all this negativity is making us feel so down, then I really hope that Meg is right and Darius isn't reading the paper or going on the internet.I'm beginning to dread Friday now. It's the feeling that everything is being stacked against him.

They are definately pushing Jimmy this week, he's appearing on the AT show, and according to our local paper the bookies are now saying Danny or Marcella to win 3/1, second at 16/5 Bernie, and last Jimmy at 27/1. Sue

I believe Kym Marsh would make those comments and know exactly what she was doing. She was the one in Hear'say who was vitriolic about Darius right after Popstars. She so obviously hasn't warmed towards Myleene either.
