Fantastic that D is through and also that Danny was deservedly bottom 2, even with his fanbase. Gutted for Jimmy, as I thought he was far better than Danny this week!

 

If D and Natasha have split, that will be an enormous shame :( Can't believe it as they were making wedding plans last year :( It could explain why D wants to succeed so much here. Is there any more info anywhere?

oh god, on a high from the program, now a dagger in my heart, is that why he couldnt connect, he looked very emotional when he was saying he couldnt do it? he must be hurting like hell, but still pulled it out the bag for tonight,

Danny was truelly awful - shame they saved him, I prefered Jimmy.

it may be that opera lovers are voting found this from opera officiados who are discussing Rolando singing in capitals and saying he will get nodules again

Why do they keep trying to scupper Darius? He can sing. I mean really, properly sing. Not opera, admittedly, but he can sing.

 

I'm a bit distracted by how gorgeous he is. But he's using the top of his voice so much better this week.

 

He's good. Really. His voice is very interesting, and he's probably just about the best there...

 

It's a worry, admittedly. Don Giovanni would be a good choice for Darius, perhaps. Although that would imply some sense...

I think you're right and he's picking up votes from people who love opera and realise how good he is.It's obvious that the judges definately have their favourites. I think Darius really did just go for broke and I'm so glad Megham and Nina got tickets for the stunning performance he produced. Hope they got in alright.

 

That's the first time more than two judges have commented on him and the first for Katherine.

 

It's encouraging that Danny was in the bottom two tonight, not for him or his fans of course, but it does look like one reality show where people are actually voting on performances. Poor Danny really never got into his song. I think his trouble at the rehearsal maybe upset him.

I would rather have heard he'd gone out than that he and Natasha have split. He really loved her. It would be terrible.

 

David and my Mum voted non stop - Mum complained that she couldn't keep up with him. They are very good people.

 

At least Aria and Cyrus were there.

 

Unless we got priority tickets, we would not go to the tv show again. three and a half hours waiting in bitter cold to have huge queues of priority guests be taken in first and about 2/3rds of the non priority not getting in. We were stuck in a corner where we saw very little - even the tv screens were obstructed.

I do like Darius with designer stubble but his eyes look sad. He sang wonderfully tonight but it is too much hassle getting in - hours waiting in the bitter cold, followed by the uncertainty of whether we'd get in or not and knowing if we didn't we'd never get home in time to watch it on tv. Our view was greatly obscured and we couldn't vote.

So glad he got through. It had passed thrugh my mind a few weeks ago about natasha as there hadnt been any pictures for a while of them together. He has said he has had a great time doing this show so hope it takes his mind off it if its true. He seemed in good spirits on loose women. I voted non stop but am getting stick from my husband.

Just flick through the actual singing late last night, so haven't seen all the behind the scenes bits. Darius was by far the best on the night for me with Bernie and Marcella second and third. Didn't think much of any of the other three especially Danny.

 

I'm so pleased that Darius got through, but very sad to hear that he may have split with Natasha. That would be such a shame. Whoever said it, I agree, he did look sad in his eyes.

so worried for him, maternal feeling coming out now. glad his brothers were there though, everyone else was being highlighted as having support in the audience, so when I saw cyrus? looks so like Darius!

I think it was telling that despite getting positive comments from them all and the enormous improvement, in their eyes, from last week and even from rehearsal, that Darius was the only person not mentioned in their round up at the end.

I noticed that too. But if poepl are voting on performance I hope that will not make any difference, he has his work cut out as the women ar coming across as very good - mind you I cant tell, I thought Macrella was painful tbh, evidently she was amazing.
