:o I think that's a little uncharitable Caroline. Maybe we could show a little sympathy and tact before we celebrate something awful for D, that may or may not mean we get to see more of him in the UK -_-

I said it was sad what else was I supposed to say

It's not about what you're supposed to say, but about what you're not! If you can't figure out for yourself why your post is in poor taste Caroline, I'm not going to waste any more of my time trying to educate you <_<

Not seen anything so far Spam. It'll probably be a few days before it shows up, if the previous weeks are anything to go by. Lets hope he is ok and is able to see this show through to however far he progresses.

No. Marcella hasn't mentioned anything about the song on her blog this week. She's talking about how lovely Jimmy is.

Anything on your Granada source, pip?

If they give Darius another language or French again, I'll be annoyed.

It's time they considered playing to his strengths - a blockbuster aria in his own range and in his most competent language to date - Italian- would be fair.

Kym has sung in French twice and made a far poorer show of it than D, even forgetting some of her words last time and she gets praised all the time.

Knowing what we do now, I just can't watch last week's scenes of Darius stressing on pstos.

I do wonder if Natasha let him go because she loves him but it isn't my business. I'll be happy to see a lot more of Darius singing live here, because he seems to come to life in front of an audience.

His voice in any of its guises really seems to strike a chord in me.

I don't see it as celebrating. The thought crossed my mind too.. Let me explain.

To be honest, B.P., one way I cope with any traumas in my own life is to focus on the tiniest sliver of silver lining to the cloud overhanging me. Being busy doing something I love or taking on a new challenge usually helps me through, along with lots of support from family and friends.

When Darius is ready to perform live anywhere in the UK and I have enough forewarning, he'll find me there, if it's at all possible.

As will I BT!

I just found it a little distasteful, that this unfortunate and traumatic event in D's life could be dismissed so trivially, by including in the same sentence that "perhaps it will be good for us because we will get more of him over here now" :( Maybe I am being over sensitive, but I felt I had to respond.

That's excellent Sue, thanks for posting it  Is he on his own or is he likely to be with other contestants?

Darius and Bernie Nolan apparently.

I'm glad he's not on his own . They're more likely to concentrate on the show.

Sorry to hear about your bug.

I can't get over how well Darius handled Granada. A new language, a song he admitted he couldn't connect to moments before the show, no cop out in the form of a repeated chorus and yet, those last 3 lines are just fantastic. His voice is so strong on the higher notes.

Darius is appearing on This Morning tomorrow at 11.15. Sue

It says 11.55 a.m. on D's Facebook page and Twitter :)

Lyn was badly sick last week for 24 hours and spent the next day recovering, but she is fine now. Hope you feel better soon PIP! :)

Look forward to seeing D and Bernie tomorrow :) I thought Bernie out performed Marcella last week, and could be emerging as a favourite to win. If D doesn't win, I wouldn't mind her winning rather than Marcella.

I would think that McFly fans will have got a shock last week, and will be voting in force this week.

I think Kym may be bottom 2, and possibly Marcella, even though she's probably been the strongest overall, she's certainly had the hardest songs IMO. If those 2 are bottom, I would guess the judges would save Marcella, but they may opt for the old 2/2 let the audience decide. Of course, these are just my thoughts and I could be completely wrong.

I think a public vote is much too hard to cal, but as potential opera /classical singers, talent-wise, Marcella, Darius and Bernie should be the final 3.

Darius wants people to post him questions under the 'Discussion' section of his Facebook page and he will answer as many as he can, sending the replies out in his Mailing List for his Official Site on Friday. Questions anyone?
