Did you not think it was a set up especially for Philip....I'd be surprised if he would have spat food out on a food tasting if it was serious

I do think I'll have a go at real carbonara....I usually do a Philip...better not ask Darius for tea

hope my dvd recorded as I'm at work so couldn't watch.

I hope so.

I knocked the power cable out of my box last Friday....luckily PS to OS was repeated on the Saturday.

Meg is on her way home and there was no-one to set her recorder.

I hope the clip is put on the internet for people to catch who have missed it.

I'm sorry if I upset you BP and you are so sensitive to what I put. I never meant Darius any harm but I meant as Baytree said that every cloud has a silver lining and although it may not be a silver lining for Darius its good for his fans and I certainly don't need educating as I have been educated thank you.

Yes, I can tell from your posts how well educated you are Caroline. I accept your apology and believe you when you say "I never meant Darius any harm", you just don't know any better, bless you!

Bad news about Booth :( Hope he is recovering ok, he's such a warm and lovely person. Yet another thing for D to worry about :(

That being said, wasn't it a wonderful interview by D. I can't think that he is really as happy and relaxed, but if he was acting there, I was totally fooled.

I get the feeling Phillip isn't keen on D, does anyone else feel the same? I can't say exactly why, I just sense something going on beneath the surface.

I don't think the food bit was setup, but feel that D might have thought he was being given some bush tucker or something, and that the food probably wasn't that good too!

I've always thought Phil gets on well with Darius and I remember that he was the one who made the separation absolutely clear between what the critics had written about GWTW and the contrasting positive reviews for Darius himself.

It's interesting that Darius now realises that for a lot of his pop songs he wasn't just using the top of his range , he was actually singing falsetto.

Tbh, he can sing any type of song, of any kind of genre in any key he chooses and I'd be amazed if I hated it.

I didn't get that feeling....will watch again and take note.

It was the way he spat it out....

He has high standards of manners and was 'judging'

Whatever the truth is it was hilarious

Yes he is always very clear and likes the truth to be known.

I feel he's good with Darius.

Wish Fern had been there

I agree, I always feel Philip genuinely gets on with Darius, not just by the interviews, but coments he has made in the past regarding behind the scenes at This Morning.

The fact he caught what Darius spat out was funny, dint think he would have done that had he not felt comfortable with D LOL

I also think Phil gets on well with D. Has always appeared so in the past. Re the Utube aria posted above, I hope this is not what he will be singing as dont feel the melody is strong enough for the gen.public to appreciate, at this stage to me it is too wordy.

Marsh: 'I'd miss opera training for Corrie'

Kym Marsh has admitted that she would always put her Coronation Street commitments before rehearsals for Popstar To Operastar.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Weatherfield's Michelle Connor, is one of five celebrity contestants still left competing in ITV1's new reality series.

Saturdays star Vanessa White reportedly annoyed show mentor Rolando Villazón last month by skipping a rehearsal for the programme. She has since been voted off.

Writing in her New magazine column, Marsh commented: "I know Rolando Villazón was angry when Vanessa White missed a practice session because she had commitments with The Saturdays, but there might be times I can't make it too as my Corrie schedule is about to get really hectic. At the end of the day, Coronation Street is my priority."

Marsh said that she appreciated all of the support she has received from Operastar viewers so far.

She added: "On a different note, have you noticed just how rude judge Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is to me? I think he's flirting

There is also a report about Ds father inspiring him to opera. Both on DS.

Hope it's not that one, I don't like it either, but we'll have to wait and see.

Really great interview. Haven't seen him looking so relaxed and happy for ages. Thought he came across really well. Sue

I wish I'd seen 'this morning' I've found the interview but not the pasta.

Phil likes Darius and has always tried to bring out the best in him.

That was great, thanks dephi. Darius seems very relaxed.
