The government had no "intelligence" at all, they're just desperately trying to salvage any kind of hope for the election, leading to this knee-jerk reaction to pander to the uninformed. how do you know that?... as they have been banned before there has to be a reason. they had no choice... either ban or allow, theyd be criticised... however EVERYONE was against the march cross party. id be suspicious if ordinary muslims were upset.... but they arnt... the proposed march was a deliberate act of intimidation towards non muslims by extremists who have no support amongst their own ethnic group.
