I've started this thread so that people can suggest/discover songs that are of the same type as Chasing Cars but dot get exposed to them.

 

I think people may discover many wonderful songs that they may not have known.

The Injustice of Chasing Cars

 

Where people could suggest songs that are the same type as Chasing Cars but are not as well known.

 

There's obviously a huge interest in songs like Chasing Cars but so many go un-noticed. If I put it in the Alternative/Specialist ones alot of Chasinc Cars fans wouldn't find it.

That might be the best option but it's the more casual Chasing Cars fan that I am trying to reach along with fans of other bands that produce Chasing Cars type songs.

Snow Patrol wrote chasing cars so they are probably the only band that would produce a chasing car type track. Run was far more superior than CC before Leona ruined it.

I really don't know where to put this but it doesn't belong in the lounge so I'm dumping it in Pop for now.

 

In future I'd recommend PMing a mod or admin with what you said in the first post rather than asking in the lounge.

thank god it wasn't because I still love it as a result of only hearing it when I want to listen to it!

'Sober' by Kelly Clarkson is a great example of a song that subtley (sp?) builds up much like Chasing Cars to a great climax, full of emotion too. That'd be my pick.

 

'Cold Case Love' by Rihanna does it as well but not really that similar to 'Chasing Cars' I guess.
