Voted. I don't dread this contest anymore. I made some REALLY good discoveries. There were about 5 10s in SF2 (one of which I disqualified), and a few high 9s that weren't cheap. Very good! ^_^

 

a lot of it's very decent but there are a lot more songs I hate than last month where I liked every song but one...shall vote later today- I know the 10 songs I'm voting for but ordering them is proving to be rather hard - time for the 3rd listen!

ISN'T TOO BAD?! 5/21? L.O.L. One fourth? Even less than one fourth... Well, assuming that neither of them ever expressed even a slight interest to my entry (to clarify - NONE did, only Zech - and it was negative :heehee: ) it's quite safe to say that I'm not going through :dance:

Let it be true tbh because i don't expect any points like at all LOL. Even less than Utopia got with jj (so extremely underrated btw :heart: ).

 

BTW this Shackles song is quite bland IMO. :(

Well, considering it's 'alternative' voters, that's not bad. They wouldn't be alternative voters if there were lots of them? You've got BaNG voting in both semis I guess anyway, so that might be another one to add?

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see you through anyway, you did it with your last entry, and isn't Jonsi from spin-off winning Sigur Ros? Don't rule it out yet. Apart from you, the semi isn't particularly Marina-friendly either, but I think I'm going to keep quiet on my entry this month. :x

I did have a listen to the Jonsi song finally - it's a bit bizarre but it's alright - not something I'd listen to typically, I can see it scooping up quite a few pop votes funnily enough because it's not dark and moody rather uplifting and joyful...maybe the indie voters won't even like it but the pop voters will flock to it :kink:

It's my favourite song atm forgetting Eurovision National Finals ( :kink: ) so i hope it will become next Top 10 shocker for Eledan :heehee: #7 in the last contest was an ASTONISHING result tbf.

I've listened through SF2, and I can say there are 4 songs that score 10.0 from me.

 

Add to that 2 songs I know in advance within SF1 that will do the same and I think in terms of quality this is the best ever calibre of entries.

Sometimes pop voters don't like pop songs and indie voters - indie songs, this is indeed the rule of everything if expanding outside music scene. But i'm sure that there are people (the example is myself actually!) who are biased prior to listening the particular 'alternative' song just because of the artist singing it. :( Like Miley Cyrus/Demi Lovato and all that Disney $h!t for me :heehee: However, i ADORE Timbo/Miley collab :kink: [/nottryingtomakearguement]
