I'm surprised 'Stereo Love' has managed to enter that high. :o Same with 'Riverside' to be honest. It's a far cry from the old days of the MTV European Top 20. Back in the 90s songs entered low and climbed to their peak. Only the really successful singles charted high up. Iirc, 'Back For Good' and 'Candle In The Wind 1997' were the only two tracks throughout the whole of the 90s that entered straight in at no. 1

I'm sure Owl City will enter the MTV European Top 20. I'd be shocked if it doesn't enter within the next fortnight. Also agree about Ke$ha as 'TiK ToK' is gaining on 'Bad Romance', in the HET30 that is, as the track enters more charts across Europe (new at no. 2 last week in Germany for example). Surely Ke$ha will be at least top 5 next week.

 

Still don't understand why Leona Lewis is there or Pixie Lott 'Cry Me Out' for that matter. :lol:

Stereo Love does deserve to chart that high, I guess its a belated entry, and has been hugely successful.
