Deffo prefer the FMs version. Radio would playlist it if it was the main version, it plays a lot more dance than it does pop).

I don't think it would make a difference re: radio playlisting, I think they now have something against her and wouldn't have playlisted it no matter what it was. :(

If this is a big enough hit it might change that for the next single, which is an ineviable flop but nevermind.

Can anyone tell me that the hype is building around Bittersweet and it would definitely go to Top 10, because I simply don't think that the single can go to Top 10 now? The reaction has been quite benign despite of that fact I live 10000 miles away from the UK. :(

I don't think hype is the problem, more the distinct lack of airplay and minimal video play too.

It's out next week and from what I can gather it's the second biggest new release behind Pendulum, but that doesn't say a lot as it's a dead week really. It'll need a real miracle to go top 10 quite frankly, I'd predict #17 at this stage.

Freemasons mix is amazing. This could do well if it got ANY support from the industry, I don't understand why it isn't, it's not like Sophie is one of these demanding ego-inflated popstars who thinks she's god. I pray for Top20 at the point.

Bittersweet was at #90 on Airplay for the period 11-17 April 2010.

Oh, and it's floating around #15 in iTunes Video Chart. (finally that bias when I didn't see the video has gone).

:magic:

I really hope this is a good omen for next week, god only knows it's the only hope I have to cling on to.

I am starting to worry that Sophie's career would end in the same way as Natalie Imbruglia's career. Natalie's single just went under the radar!

I don't understand why she's not succesful. I was actually surprised when Heartbreak didn't go to #1, really surprised! It was a TUNE!

Bittersweet sounds like Heartbreak's little brother (instead of big brother -- to me), but it's still very good and deserves to chart in the top10.

#11 in the iTunes Video Chart thing despite of the lack of playing. Maybe the things aren't that bad after all?

What's the translation into the chart position then?
