May 20, 201015 yr Is the placing of needles painful, or do they anaesthetise the area first? The mere thought terrorises me.
May 20, 201015 yr Author Must write this birthday card and post it whilst walking the dogs. Then I must get on with some filing....not done any since I moved here :o
May 20, 201015 yr Is the placing of needles painful, or do they anaesthetise the area first? The mere thought terrorises me. No they don't anaesthetise the area, but I usually don't find it too painful on my knee, don't know how Meg feels? I was once told the more painful it is, the more good it's doing, but don't know if that's true. Sue
May 20, 201015 yr Ugh, I'd never find the courage! I should be out in the garden but it is too hot and humid.
May 20, 201015 yr On my hands and neck the needles hurt but don't anywhere else. When they message my neck, hands and back, it REALLY hurts. I have bruises most weeks. Still worth doing though
May 21, 201015 yr I was once told the more painful it is, the more good it's doing, but don't know if that's true. Sue Oh,dear Sue, sounds like the typical soothing words by doctors before something hurts!
May 21, 201015 yr It's often right though. The bits of me worse affected are the ones which really hurt. Without the treatment I have a suspicion that I may not still be managing my Mum.
May 21, 201015 yr They also say that if it bleeds when they remove the needles that that's a good sign as well. Don't know how true that is either? Need to go and water the garden. Sue
