EBU: A Quiz for Europe!

Eurovision fans all over Europe will be able to pit their wits and song contest knowledge against the skills of other countries in a special EBU broadcast scheduled for the lead-up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.

Test the song contest is an exciting television event planned to take place on 28th April 2007, two weeks before the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest is held in Helsinki, Finland, charged with the goal of testing viewers on over fifty years of history. The timing is deliberately aimed at the post-national finals period, and intended to draw the biggest possible audience in the lead-up to the contest itself. At the end of the interactive show, which will be broadcast simultaneously across each of the participating countries, it will be revealed which country is populated by the most expert fans.

Top of the pops

The EBU promise serious fun, and will answer questions such as: how will the final test results square up with the typical song contest results for each of the participating countries? Will the underdogs make a surprise surge to the top? Will the Eurovision kings be the ones to struggle? All will be revealed at the end of Test the song contest!

Looks interesting! Will be good to know who has the most fans!
That looks so good, but knowing us, we'll probably stick it on some channel that about 38 people have access to
