January 13, 201015 yr I hope Mandy comes back. If she doesn't I will literally cry. She's like the Joker of 24. She just eats up the screen when she's on, and you always feel bad when she disappears again. Edited January 13, 201015 yr by DanielMiles17
January 18, 201015 yr Author First two eppy's were pretty good, liking the CTU Girl subplot as well. Looking forward to 2 more tonight!
January 19, 201015 yr A solid start to what looks set to be a great season. Alot of interesting new characters which is good to see, and I was relieved that so much happened, especially in the 3rd and 4th episodes. I can't stand things being drawn out for ages. The NY CTU is very impressive, I love the futuristic look and the technology - it gives the show a much fresher feel imo. I also like the CTU Director, Brain Hassings - he is similar to Driscol, and the way he walks is amusing  Also loving Renne, and Freddie Prince Jr is turning out to be a great new addition. Overall I am pleased and have a good feeling about this season. Edited January 19, 201015 yr by Jack Bauer
January 19, 201015 yr Author Agreed with most of that, except Brian Hastings. Hate the guy. He was mean to Chloe!
January 20, 201015 yr I don't like the new CTU head either, but I sort of think they need that sort of character, in that we love to hate them. I can't make too much of it so far but i'm liking it so far. It'll take a while for me to get to grip with all the new cast members though as it always does. I already have the feeling Renee won't last too long this season... Came as a suprise when I saw David Anders, didn't think he was in 24 this season?! Great actor though, so pleased with his addition to the cast!
January 20, 201015 yr Author Yeah, I'm liking David too, and Freddie has also surprised me, he seems a great addition to the cast. Renee seems to have gone crazy bitch, but she's credited as a main cast member this season while Freddie is in the supporting cast,so I cant see her going too far for a while..
January 20, 201015 yr Freddie is main cast. :P He's 2nd to last on the credits just before Cherry Jones. Definitely can see Renee dying though, she has nothing left to live for and her cover with the Russians must surely get blown at some point?! I really can't see her surviving the day.
January 20, 201015 yr Author Oh yeah :( I misread Wiki once again. But yeah, I do agree with you, she'll be blown out at some point, wouldnt surprise me if it was by Jack in a Curtis Manning style situation tbh..
February 9, 201015 yr Fox confirms Europe-set '24' movie Tuesday, February 9 2010, 10:12 GMT Digital Spy By Simon Reynolds, Movies Editor 20th Century Fox has confirmed plans to make a 24 feature film set in Europe. The studio has contracted Billy Ray (State Of Play) to write the movie, which will see Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer face enemies outside of the US. The Bauer character has previously left Los Angeles to take on missions in Africa (in TV movie 24: Redemption) and New York (the currently airing season 8). The 24 TV team will be involved in the big screen spinoff, with Sutherland, series creators Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow, and current showrunner Howard Gordon executive producing. The movie is expected to proceed when the TV show comes to an end. Sutherland has previously voiced his desire to make a 24 film in Europe, telling DS last year: "It's something that we've always talked about because I think the fantastic thing about Europe, for something like 24, is that it's very feasible to get from Prague to London in the course of a day."
February 9, 201015 yr Great news, and let's hope they take their time on the script to ensure it isnt some half-arsed effort. I hope this doesnt mean there will be no season 9 though. Btw, Im enjoying this season so far but it seems a tad slow and im not finding myself needing to see the next episode straight away like I usually do. I hope last nights episode is brilliant. I thought Jack in those glasses was hilarious.
February 9, 201015 yr Last nights episode was amazing. I was worried the pace was going to slow down and they were going to drag the Russian storylines out. But thankfully both of the stories are about to become interlinct. All of the storylines are progressing now, really liking it. Good news about the movie. I probably think this season will be the last of 24 then, as there's no way they'd be able to shoot a full 24 episode production and do a film.
February 14, 201015 yr Author Am I the only one whose not enjoying this season much at all then? :( Last week's episode was good but apart from that it's not been great, Renee's comeback has been floptacular, both Presidents are annoying as FOOK and the pace has been slooooow.
February 14, 201015 yr I thought that to begin with, but everything's starting to come together now. Jack's been kidnapped by the Russians, the Dana storyline is about to end. I'm thinking it'll get a lot better, I was starting to think they were going to drag things out, but i'm glad they've broken Renee and Jack up now. I honestly cannot see Renne lasting this season. I'm just waiting for the big comeback of a certain character now...
February 14, 201015 yr Author Yeah the Dana storyline looked interesting to begin with but now that's gone f*** awful and kind of pointless. I forgot about that comeback :o Excited again!
February 23, 201015 yr Yeah the comback is going to be great :D Last night's episode (in the US) was very enjoyable - and next week looks even better, so I hope the quality continues to improve and it doesnt turn bland again mid-season. I am delighted the boring Dana story has ended - I found all three charachters involved utterly unlikeable and could've done without it tbh.
February 24, 201015 yr Author I thought the latest episode (US Pace) was pretty crap again :( I'm really not enjoying this season all that much.
February 24, 201015 yr Looks like I'm not missing anything much, I've seen the odd episodes when I can catch it.
