I'm just technology resistant.

 

Most of my friends know to phone me if they want an answer within a reasonable time frame. Snail mail has more chance of getting a response, because I have to physically lift that off the hall floor.

I suppose that I've got used to it. Most of the people I know use email rather than writing.

I video talk to Stuart I can move the camera or take the laptop round the house so he can see what I have done.

Spam, you'll have to get me started on skype. I haven't got a webcam though.

I think I got mine for about £15.

It's either a web cam with microphone or a headset with microphone....web cam is better so you can videocam

I have this aversion to being photographed. It's been with me all my life. I used to get asked to model but just couldn't stand the thought.

You don't have to have a webcam to use skype. You can either just use voice through a microphone (my laptop has a built in one) or type like you do on msn

How long do you think the old facebook page will stay open? Darius could be leaving a lot of people adrift. Not every body uses itheirs every day.

I've not even looked at it for the last couple of days. Darius' page is on the poptoopera page I think.

or not use a webcam at all. Why the need to see each other? I have talked to people on skype just using a microphone, while they have had a webcam, so I could see (and hear) them and they could hear me.

 

I used skype on my laptopn when on holiday in US to talk to my hubby on the house phone. It worked very well.
