Posted January 10, 201015 yr ...always determined to collect something, I've become obsessed of late with the Japanese-issue mini-LP replica sleeve editions of classic albums. The first I'd seen of these were the Kate Bush ones, of which I bought the lot. They're basically the original vinyl album cover miniaturised - down to the label, the inner sleeve, gatefold covers..... they're beautiful as you'd expect anything coming on import from Japan would be. The really stunning ones I've bought recently are The Smiths ones - which are truly something else (great sound quality, too), Bjork, Led Zep, Roxy Music and, the nicest of the lot, Cocteau Twins. Mainly off eBay as places like HMV rarely seem to have them. They're not cheap, but as they're so limited they zoom up in value (always remember to keep the paper OBI strip, though), so they're definitely worth getting if you have a spare few quid.
