Well, you try to find a very good, unknown musical act. You actually find it.

And this happens..

You know, The patriarch is an extraordinary EPIC power ballad!!!!

Cannot blame the semi too much though, as my semi was fantastic! And all of my voted songs made it through to the final, which I'm really grateful for..

I have approximately 20 good unknown musical acts in my quality pocket yet to be sent..

- so you bet I'm ready for XXIV! :w00t:

Why not? It's a great tool, fun and interesting to look at, and quite practical!

Please make one for the final results at least then :drama:[/

Who I voted for that didn't make it to the final...

4 - Liechenstaan - Ricki-Lee - Parachute

1 - Angelicland - Mary N'Diaye - Take Me Home

:)

I'm gutted Cudi failed! :( I've had his album for ages but never got round to properly listening to it, and i'm seriously thinking about doing so now! Thanks! :D

Do! It's a brilliant album. My favourite of 2009.

That reminds me, I still need to do my 2009 YTD!

'The Prayer' isn't actually off the album, it's from the 'A Kid Named Cudi' mixtape, but I love that too!

OMG! Had Kath voted Cadbury & Liechenstaan would have been bottom! No way were they THAT bad compared to most of the other stuff in that semi!

My DNQ'ers:

Liechenstaan [10Pts]

Cadbury [08Pts]

Angelicland [07Pts]

Zechonia [02Pts]

OH GOD! :drama:

Thanks for the points, that's practically half my points just from you! :heehee:

Oooh. Could you find me a link for the mixtape please? :o

OH GOD! :drama:

Over a third of my points. Thanks anyway, and Jerick, and anyone else who I've missed. :)

I can't belive Camdonia DNQ, it's actually the first entry from them I have liked :)

Wait. What?

I qualified, yay. *mind blown*

Thanks for the votes guys

Pleased I got through, I was thinking I might not as people hadn't exactly said great things about it. My hope is it comes higher than 'Salt Air' as although I like that I think it's easily the weakest of the three Chew Lips entries.

From what DNQ'd I gave Kathaldazia and Cadbury 2 & 1 and Skall 12. I'm not disappointed though, I was surprised it got as many as 48 points! Thanks Harve for sending it! :D

Nonsuch's DNQ SF2 votes:

8 Pts Skall: Former Ghosts - Dreams

6 Pts Angelicland: Mary N'Diaye - Take Me Home

1 Pt Liechenstaan: Ricki-Lee - Parachute

Oh dear lord, you've hit a new low Mikey. You already sent that last year!

I know I used Jennifer Sutta, I just used it as an example of using a fit girl for a dance track

Zsa Zsa is basically a blue haired Sandi Thom

YES.

I knew she reminded me of someone when James was declaring how 'fit' she was to me. She's a ringer for her! (though Sandi isn't quite as scary looking)

nice photo comparison! I love that they're both standing by walls - really highlights the similarity!
