The voting changes

Today the voting system revealed and explained by the EBU to the Greek host broadcaster. During the final voting, the scoreboard will appear with each country to give automatically the points from one to seven. The each national anchor will attribute the points of eight, ten and ultiamtely twelve. The voting procedure narrowed due to last year's low TV ratings in the middle of the voting procedure in Kyiv. The procedure also was considered to be too long.

This is so bad... why can't the 13 countries who don't qualify just not vote? Ruining the competition...

In ESC 2007, only the top six countries of 2006 and the big four (United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and France) will go directly through to the final, leaving 14 places up for grabs in the semi-final. No more than 30 participants will be allowed in the semi-final though.

The whole semi-final business is killing it enough anyway, it should be left well alone with one final, 24 countries voting 1-12 imo.

Also, the last three countries to read out votes will read out all votes, 1-12 which is fairly good news really!
They should stop messing around with it, the voting system etc. has always been this way and is iconic to Eurovision - leave it alone!
I think the semi-final is a good idea as it ensures far better quality in the final and last year's in particular had tonnes of great songs
