New album 'Dirt' out in March.

Released Hunt The Haunted as a free single last week, and their new single 'Matters At All' premiered tonight. It's soooo good. Cannot wait for the album now! Loved their debut record so much.

I don't see the fuss at all with these guys. Judging from that 'Youngblood' song and 'Matters It All', they comes across to me as a YMA6 rejects or any other similar bands.

Maybe I have to check their older stuff, those might be better.

I love them. Smart Casual was easily part of my Top 3 albums from 2008. Both You Me At Six and Kids in Glass Houses have got bigger sounding producers this time, presumablely to go with both bands bigger popularity now. Cannot wait for this album though. They're so good live as well.

I take it back actually. 'Matters It All' is growing on me a lot. Still kind of not in to the vocals though.

I want this to leak so badly.

Right on que.

Love the album already after a few listens.

They've definitely been spending a lot of time with New Found Glory.

There needs to be more love for this album. The album is soooooo good. So many good songs, namely 'The Best Is Yet To Come', 'Sunshine' and 'The Morning Afterlife'. 'Undercover Lover' the song with Frankie from The Saturdays is really going to take them mainstream. I can see commercial radio lapping it up.

I found their début to glossy and over-polished sounding. Really, really not liking the new single either, may give the album a listen however..

Yarrr. I <3'd it at first, but then it really grated on me.

And like I said, I can't stand the new singles (all the little 'indie kids' are RAVING about it), but I may just check the album out anyway.

I love their first album. It's raw and perfect. There are some good, and not so good tracks, but it's a very solid album.

'Dirt' is much more polished, and a lot bigger sounding (similar to You Me At Six's new album). If/when Undercover Lover is released (with Frankie Sanford) they're definitely going to go sooo mainstream though. I can see radio EATING the track up.

I'd love it if the album sounded like Fisticuffs & Pillow Talk, they're the only two I really like.

Matters At All has grown on me loads. Undercover Lover is very good as well. Will listen to the album in full soon :)

brilliant album. So much good tracks! The middle part of the album from around track 4 - 9 is by far the best part imo. :)

I think I like the beginning best. Artbreaker I is such a good opener (and Artbreaker II as well (that solo at the beginning is absolute WHACK as well)), and I just love The Best Is Yet To Come so much. I love the build-up in the track, and the shouty vocals. In no way would it really be suitable as a single, but it's pretty much the track for me that sums up why I like KIGH so much.

Animal, For Better Or Hearse is pretty much the only track i'm not keen on. The Morning Afterlife is blitz though. Although I can see why people maybe might not be too keen on it; it does sound very over-produced, and emotionally forced, but I think it's great.

The album is just top in general. My only real grip with KIGH is that they're very proud to be Welsh, yet they want to be American so badly. I think a lot of reviewers and critics are harsh on them, as they use this fact to criticse them, and it's very unfair imo. It's clear their influences lie within Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory etc. - i've seen a lot of people see this as a bad thing, yet I can't really think of too many pop-punk bands from the UK.

Singles for me are:

01 Youngblood (Let It Out)

02 Matters At All

03 Undercover Lover (they can't have this on the album and not release it as a single, or else it's just pointless, even if it's not the best track on the album)

04 Sunshine

05 Giving Up

The Morning Afterlife is growing on me i have to say. ^_^

I think i'd just change Sunshine to Lilli Rose. The single's have been chosen very well so far and I agree aswell that as you said in another post that Undercover Lover would be the track that would take them more mainstream & would be such a silly desicion not to release it. There is obviously some interest in the song because even on the sticker on the album it says: includes the songs/singles: Youngblood (Let It Out), Matters At All & Undercover Lover & when Radio 1 were sampling a song from the albums that were being released that week they played Undercover Lover. :)
