I MUST try and catch this. I'm not really a fan of the show but it is funny on occasions. Hasn't D been on this show previously a few years back? Not sure if I am getting confused or not. Either way, it will be lovely to see him on another tv show. Isn't it great, after such a lull to have all this wonderful activity :) Long may it continue

There is - isn't it about 1am? It wasn't a good interview for GWTW. I think he was tired and trying to be Rhett rather than himself.

They did a silly sketch where Jane Mc Donald dressed up as Scarlett O'Hara. It was awful. Sue

This one was good though/ Darius as I like to see him.

Finally managed to remeber for once :) Nice to see a more natural D than on some occasions, though would have preferred him not to repeat things he's said elsewhere previously. I suppose some things are inevitably repeated though, as the questions asked will relate to them on the diff shows. Shame he wasn't on a little longer, but enjoyed it anyway.

 

Interesting that he has been writing material for others, including the winner of American Idol but couldn't he have fed this type of info through Rachel or on one of his sites, so we could have known? Maybe he wasn't able to say :unsure:

 

I loved his answer to what his job was now in the states, even though him enjoying himself has meant we haven't seen him in 2009.

Isn't there a clause in the contract which only lets SC get any credit for anything on AI ? I'll bet there's an unwritten one. You never hear about Simon Fuller.

I hope we do more in 2010. I need something to cheer me up.

Thanks Nina I hadnt seen it. I agree with meg, he was very relaxed but I thought Sue said there was a spoof on GWTW but missed that.

That was when he was Rhett and he did their show, Preston, not today.

Caught it at last. Good interview.

 

I take your point, Preston, about Darius going over old ground. I do think it's OK for a few interviews just now because he fell off many people's radar when he went to the US or even before, in the longish break between his 2 albums.

 

We've been keeping the closest ever eye on him and even we learned something new. It's like I said when they did that money league thing of reality TV singers - it's guesswork and they don't know how much he's earned as a songwriter............. perhaps as a producer too.

I did wonder when he was off the radar if he was writing a lot because thats what David sneddon has done permanently.Lets hope in Ds case its not.

Darius loves to perform. I don't think it'd be good for him not to. Keeping us updated would be very good for us though.

I'm wondering what they did to Darius to make him describe them as "naughty".

 

I liked the wee look at the "green" room. Darius was having a right good chin wag with the actor who plays Graeme on Corrie.
