Tan fuerte ha sido el vínculo inicial que con el correr del tiempo, la relación entre ellas se mantuvo intacta a pesar de la desvinculación sentimental de la actriz y modelo con Aito De la Rúa, cuñado de la estrella del pop latino. Shakira y Gabriela Vaca Guzmán consolidan su amistad. No sólo fue la colombiana quien hace tres años acercó el book de la argentina a varios productores en Miami, sino que además apuesta fuerte al talento de la figura de la compañía Chekka Buenos Aires.

 

Es por eso que días atrás, la cantante contactó a los ejecutivos de dicha empresa para convocar formalmente a su ex cuñada como figura femenina de su próximo clip. Se trata del video de “Men in this town”, uno de sus cortes más recientes. Por estas horas, Shakira y su equipo definirán si el rodaje tendrá lugar en Hollywood, en Punta del Este o en Buenos Aires. Según testimonios de su entorno íntimo, Shakira destaca la actitud profesional de “Gaby”, como la llama, y asegura que no se trata sólo del lazo afectivo que las une, sino que ve en ella una emergente y fuerte personalidad artística para Latinoamérica.

I really hope it's true. The thing is, Sony have officially confirmed that Gypsy is the next UK single which means Men In This Town could be the next US single but that's so stupid because Men In This Town is such a Euro single. Gypsy is just going to be a big flop - I don't get why they are so determined to release it when every review and poll has highlighted Men In This Town as people's favourite song from the album.

come on MITT!! i hope shakira is fighting amanda ghost hard :arrr: to get this released! shakira has said in interviews her favourites on the album are mon amour and men in this town. its also the fans favourite in shakira.com online poll so release it you fukkers!!

This and Good Stuff are my favourites, hope this will be the next single for UK! :)

I listened to men in this town today at a CD store and it's just fantastic and mind-blowing!! Must be a single!
