So i recently came across Dan Black and he's looking like an artist on the rise. his music is pretty electro/indie/pop ish and while it's not usually the type of music I listen to, Symphonies is pretty catchy. I started to like it more after watching the video also... it's pretty artsy and sort of takes you through cinematic history. Great way to spend a few minutes of your day.

 

Any other suggestions for music like him? Let me know what you think because this genre is growing on me!

It samples Notorious B.I.G. I thought he might be pretty big, but he flopped completely when he was launched last year.

 

The Kid Cudi remix is really good. The only similar artists I could reccomend are stuff like Owl City and Frankmusik. I don't think there are too many male synth-pop artists about at the moment.
