So much that I haven't heard - and plenty of them have very Finnish/Norwegian names. Didn't really like Leddra Chapman that much in BJSC...and that'd obviously mean I haven't heard the album. Nice to see Erik Hassle so high up - really is a beautiful song. As for what you said about me seeing the Marina hype - I can see why people like Hollywood, as I do, I just don't understand why it's being heralded as this 'by far the best song of 2010' and stuff, when it isn't exactly a new sound, it's just another pop-ish track - that's what I'm failing to understand to see.

 

thanks Rob :D they're probably Eurovision songs :heehee: I LOVE Leddra, singer/songwriter folky pop is one of my favourite genres ans she is great :wub: Hurtful is fantastic I agree :D Hollywood is brilliant, I wouldn't say it's 'by far the best song of 2010' but it is thoroughly decent, I think people are just excited that Marina finally has a commercial enough song for her to live up to the hype

 

Need to take a squeeze at those 2 tracks when I have some time, but at the moment its becoming a chore to log on here every day, with all the baiting in the chart forum, I can't take it anymore :drama:

03 - 10th is good! Shackles have been entered by Norway into TC's February edition so it'll be interesting to see how they do. Norway have a pretty awesome track record in TC.

03 - 10th is good! Shackles have been entered by Norway into TC's February edition so it'll be interesting to see how they do. Norway have a pretty awesome track record in TC.

6. oh really, I rarely listen to those - it was definitely in that competition when I heard it first - I remember it kept growing on me with each listen for weeks on end as well :lol:

39. haha, yeah it's very much the same structure - maybe it will come 2nd like Cyndi did! yeah, the E.M.D screaming was huge - and I thought the screams for Alcazar were large! those two acts were definitely the most well loved by the crowd :D

50. It only got to #38 or something in my chart but I did really like it, it was just a really competitive few weeks I think. I've got a Vauxhall Astra - it's really nice though, quite sporty - not entirely me in fact, it feels too classy :lol: yep, I'm going to MF again - all booked and paid for, last year was really good and I figure I might be doing a course this time next year so won't be able to go again so better make the most of it while I can. Wow! that sounds really in depth, do you reckon it will cost you a lot or can you do it relatively cheaply? going to ESC would be amazing though, I *may* have gone if I hadn't bought the car, but certainly not by train :lol:

Wonder if you'll bump into any stars again? :lol: Well I hated flying and I think my friend does too... I'm hoping that the trip will be cheap, but I imagine the costs will spiral and we'll end up taking a 32 hour train ride to Oslo instead :rofl: . At least if we did that I could be in Oslo for the two semi finals aswell. At the moment I'll be in Copenhagen for semi final 1 and Stockholm for semi final 2! I should imagine Stockholm will have a screening of it somewhere though, not sure how big ESC is in Denmark!

I don't see Maria doing it really, I can see it being a two way thing between Didrik and A1 - Make My Day is sadly a lot weaker than Hold On Be Strong :( yeah, they did do a HELL of a lot of editing on that DVD just to give us the good bits :lol: the entire final is on there though, no editing whatsoever, it's exactly as I remember watching it in the arena :wub:

50. my current car is terrible, so rundown, so I'm glad to have an upgrade :lol: I'm staying in the same hotel so fingers crossed I get to see some celebs, maybe Mans again seeing as he's hosting this year! I despise flying but I figured I can grin and bear it for two hours each way rather than adding three or four extra days (which I couldn't get off work anyway) onto my journey travelling by train - plus the flights were a lot cheaper too - if there was a fairly cheap way of travelling to Sweden by train I might have considered it :o yeah, Sweden you'll find somewhere showing it I'm sure!

I doubt it, it's hardly stormed up the iTunes chart in Norway compared to some of the other entries :lol: Hold On Be Strong was a #1 there but I think that was more based on the song than her as an artist - Mine All Mine failed to make the chart at all :( the MF final was 2 hours exactly ^_^ started at 8pm on the dot and finished at 10pm on the dot, so I recall :lol:

50. ah I see...yeah, Norway isn't cheap at all - the hotels are a rip off too, plus there arena that the ESC is being held in is quite far out from the main city centre...it all looks too much of a hassle for me to be bothered with :lol: I know I said I'd try to go if it came nearer but that was before I realised how expensive it would all be - potentially over £500 for just a few days, and I can't really justify it :(
