Timbaland feat Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again (Re-entry) (CR-24-24-28-38-OUT-49) So much that I haven't heard - and plenty of them have very Finnish/Norwegian names. Didn't really like Leddra Chapman that much in BJSC...and that'd obviously mean I haven't heard the album. Nice to see Erik Hassle so high up - really is a beautiful song. As for what you said about me seeing the Marina hype - I can see why people like Hollywood, as I do, I just don't understand why it's being heralded as this 'by far the best song of 2010' and stuff, when it isn't exactly a new sound, it's just another pop-ish track - that's what I'm failing to understand to see. thanks Rob :D they're probably Eurovision songs :heehee: I LOVE Leddra, singer/songwriter folky pop is one of my favourite genres ans she is great  Hurtful is fantastic I agree :D Hollywood is brilliant, I wouldn't say it's 'by far the best song of 2010' but it is thoroughly decent, I think people are just excited that Marina finally has a commercial enough song for her to live up to the hype
January 23, 201015 yr Author Need to take a squeeze at those 2 tracks when I have some time, but at the moment its becoming a chore to log on here every day, with all the baiting in the chart forum, I can't take it anymore :drama: btw, something wrong with your photobucket account  haha, I try to ignore the chart forum if I can these days! I know, I've apparantly used up 100GB of memory on Photobucket this month so my account's suspended  they're lying!

January 25, 201015 yr Hey, some fabby new entries this week! My comments: 3. Marina And The Diamonds - Hollywood (3) (CR-26-10-7-7-11-3-3-3) That blasted Haiti single has ruined her chances of a number one hit with this :( :( 6. Mira Craig - I’ll Take You High (NEW) (CR-38) I was disappointed with this :( 39. Tomine Harket - Be Good To Me (NEW) (CR-40) I do rather love this. A Shame it failed to qualify. The other ballad in it's semi final was dull beyond belief :( 50. Hera Björk - Je Ne Sais Quoi (NEW) (CR-50) J'adore!!! A third number one on its way for her on my chart. I just pray she wins the Icelandic final. She's the fan favourite in Europe, but will the fact it sounds like Euroband's entry put the Icelandic folk off? :(

It's gorgeous! can't believe it failed to even get to second chance :( 50. This will zoom up my chart next week, was a rather last minute entry. I honestly can't see that she'll be beaten - everything else in the Icelandic selection this year is so inferior to this - having said that, it's incredibly generic and would most likely do a Hero/La Voix/Je T'adore and fail to make much of an impact at ESC :( they got over Europop quite a few years ago sadly

Never mind, at least the album might do it... Oh, she won The Countdown this month with Mowgli's Road, so that's my fifth victory now, woo! I've entered Fight For This Love for February... How are you doing in BJSC? 06 - Yep. I didn't think much of it at first, but started to like it once I saw the video, which in itself is amazing! 07 - Very disappointing, like Iceland's and Malta's. Slovakia and Moldova are not looking likely to throw up anything amazing either this year, I just hope Sweden and Slovenia don't let me down  39 - Oh good, I thought perhaps you'd hate Didrik's song  . The climax of the song is great. Alexander has an album out next week as part of Zuma and it has all three of their MGP entries and a couple of other hits on it. I will have to invest in it! I need to hear the studio version of A1 before I pass further comment. The screaming girls put me off the live version a bit  50 - Great! I wasn't sure if you'd like this at all. I hope she does an album if she goes to ESC. I agree though, at ESC this would only get through to the final on jury support I imagine. Are you going to Norway? Me and a friend I worked with are thinking about it, but we're going to do a backpacking style trip over two weeks with Eurovision in the middle of it all

In the most recent contest I came 10th with Breaking The Silence by Shackles - not sure what to send to the next one yet! 6. it is, very Toy Story...bizarre that I gave it 12 points in the CHCESC and now it's this huge worldwide hit, who would have thought  7. yeah, Iceland's has been quite boring on the whole, with some truly hideous songs! not been following Malta's, I haven't really loved any of their entries since 2005 :( they used to be my favourite country too! 39. no, not at all - it reminds me slightly of I'll Leave My Heart by Cyndi - it only didn't make my chart this week because I hadn't heard it until Saturday. Oh right, I won't be investing in it, let me know if there's any outstanding tracks on it though! A1's audience reaction was nothing compared to E.M.D. in Sweden last year, I think I actually went deaf for a moment, particularly as where I was sitting I was surrounded by teenage girls  50. Really? why's that - I loved Hero and Je T'adore, and really liked Someday from last year so I guess I was always going to like this. I've never lisened to her song that was a #1 in your chart though...I can't go to Norway I don't think sadly, I've just spent two grand on a new car as mine completely died and I decided to get something decent this time - plus I'll be spending a fortune in Sweden I expect...sounds great though, are you going by train or plane or both?
January 25, 201015 yr 3. yeah I expect the album will go to No.1 :D well done on winning, Mowgli's Road only came 19th in BJSC, although a very long time ago! Shackles have been entered by Norway into TC's February edition so it'll be interesting to see how they do. Norway have a pretty awesome track record in TC. 06 -, yeah I wasn't expecting it to be that massive! I think it was the week before ChCESC or Unknown Pleasures whatever it was that it came to people's attention in the UK as a Popjustice song of the day. I seem to recall remembering it from that when Terrypops sent me it  39 - That's what it sounds like! I was trying to think what it was, I was thinking Loch Lomond  . Haha! I bet the screaming was loud for E.M.D. 50 - Oh, for some reason I thought you weren't very keen on Hera's Someday  . Never mind. Oh right, what car have you bought? You're going to Melodifestivalen again? I can't remember if you'd told me already but I hope the final has a decent line up for you! If we are going (it's a big if at the moment) then it'll all be by train (nightmare) through France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands and Belgium stopping at all the capitals and Bergen, Malmo and Hamburg, all being well  . Depends on if I get ESC tickets first though, which will be a bit of a scram

It only got to #38 or something in my chart but I did really like it, it was just a really competitive few weeks I think. I've got a Vauxhall Astra - it's really nice though, quite sporty - not entirely me in fact, it feels too classy  yep, I'm going to MF again - all booked and paid for, last year was really good and I figure I might be doing a course this time next year so won't be able to go again so better make the most of it while I can. Wow! that sounds really in depth, do you reckon it will cost you a lot or can you do it relatively cheaply? going to ESC would be amazing though, I *may* have gone if I hadn't bought the car, but certainly not by train

I should think it's between Didrik, A1 and Maria for MGP winner, can't really see any of the others doing it. I've actually got the MF 2009 DVD now  . Not seen the final yet, but watched all the heats and second chance. I'm very impressed by the serious editing out of the boring bits in the heats :D 50 - Nice! I think I'd look a bit strange driving a sporty car, I'd probably prefer an old mini or something  . I hope you have a great time there then! Wonder if you'll bump into any stars again? Well I hated flying and I think my friend does too... I'm hoping that the trip will be cheap, but I imagine the costs will spiral and we'll end up taking a 32 hour train ride to Oslo instead  . At least if we did that I could be in Oslo for the two semi finals aswell. At the moment I'll be in Copenhagen for semi final 1 and Stockholm for semi final 2! I should imagine Stockholm will have a screening of it somewhere though, not sure how big ESC is in Denmark!

I don't see Maria doing it really, I can see it being a two way thing between Didrik and A1 - Make My Day is sadly a lot weaker than Hold On Be Strong :( yeah, they did do a HELL of a lot of editing on that DVD just to give us the good bits  the entire final is on there though, no editing whatsoever, it's exactly as I remember watching it in the arena  50. my current car is terrible, so rundown, so I'm glad to have an upgrade  I'm staying in the same hotel so fingers crossed I get to see some celebs, maybe Mans again seeing as he's hosting this year! I despise flying but I figured I can grin and bear it for two hours each way rather than adding three or four extra days (which I couldn't get off work anyway) onto my journey travelling by train - plus the flights were a lot cheaper too - if there was a fairly cheap way of travelling to Sweden by train I might have considered it :o yeah, Sweden you'll find somewhere showing it I'm sure!

I agree that Make My Day is a weak song though. How long does the final last roughly? I might have to find time to watch it if it's the same length as Eurovision  50 - That's something I'm wondering about if Hypa reopens before I go and I end up back working, but with everything booked. The person I'm hoping to go with also worked there so we'd have to make a really serious decision unless they let both of us off for 2 weeks (unlikely!) :/ . I have looked at flights to Norway but they seem quite expensive and the websites confuse me :(

I doubt it, it's hardly stormed up the iTunes chart in Norway compared to some of the other entries  Hold On Be Strong was a #1 there but I think that was more based on the song than her as an artist - Mine All Mine failed to make the chart at all :( the MF final was 2 hours exactly ^_^ started at 8pm on the dot and finished at 10pm on the dot, so I recall  50. ah I see...yeah, Norway isn't cheap at all - the hotels are a rip off too, plus there arena that the ESC is being held in is quite far out from the main city centre...it all looks too much of a hassle for me to be bothered with  I know I said I'd try to go if it came nearer but that was before I realised how expensive it would all be - potentially over £500 for just a few days, and I can't really justify it :(

I shall hopefully get round to watching it at some point this week. 50 - I think I'd probably stay at a campsite if I am going to Oslo, or maybe in a field near the stadium  . It does seem like quite a lot of hassle, I agree, especially with all the different currencies I'll have to be carrying around
