I know we haven't even heard it yet but I doubt a uninspired version of 'Everybody Hurts' will be as good.

Why can't Cowell just set up a phoneline to donate to instead of having to do a charity single over and over again :mellow:

For Cowell its all about "I have X amount of songs in the charts" or "I've had X amount of No.1 singles" that is why he wouldn't just donate the cash!

Someone said they've already had a million pre-orders already. So are we looking at 1-2million? Could it even be bigger than Band Aid?! :o

Our local Asda is selling them today! :huh:

 

It looked like they were selling really fast! About 1/3 of them had gone and it was onlt about 11.30am.

I've always wondered why physicals don't get released on a Sunday, 'cause the weekend must be the biggest days for casual buyers buying them.

 

I think about 800k this week.

I have no idea but at least 1million. Depends on the of the country really.

 

At the end of the day who really cares tough as long as the money goes towards helping the people of Haiti i hope it sells by the bucketload

Hopefully it will sell well and the money raised will be put to good use.The single may be bland but it is wrong to hope it fails there is a bigger issue here.I am sure it will sell around 1.2 million.

What I think is wrong is why that the line up and Cowell didn't just all give some of their money to Haiti, but instead they released another hideous charity song for us to buy. Makes me sick.

Definitely over a million, probaly around 1.5.

It's gonna sell a $h!tload. Hard to say how much though.
