It's basically 2 boring hours! :angry:

Some bits were ok, including the end - it was that popular that there was only me, my 2 mates and another couple watching it and this was at 7 o'clock when the cinema was packed when queueing for tickets!!!! :lol:

I agree up to a point.. It's pretty good for 90 minutes, but then just seems to go absolutely nowhere in the final act.... After the (visually impressive) assault on the house where Eli and his companion are hiding out, it just seems to stall, and becomes really rather silly.....

 

It's like the screenwriter came up with a good beginning and middle, but had absolutely no idea how to actually end it.... He should have cribbed a few notes from "The Road", which was consistently excellent throughout in terms of structure and emotionally satisfying....

I havent seen the film but the soundtrack is amazing. done by the brilliant Atticus Ross.

Right, I've deleted that post by MaxCreigs because it doesn't have spoilers inserted and it gives the end away....

 

And, actually, after receiving an email from another member I think I'm actually going to have to issue a 10% warning too....
