April 27, 201015 yr I'm now shamefully loving this monstrosity, in the same way I saw fit for Daz and Scooch to both top my personal chart in their respective years. So cheesy and dated but it refuses to leave my head
April 27, 201015 yr Completely irrelevant to this song but I couldn't think of where else to post it. I've just realised how completely fitting Teenage Life would have been for our entry this year! Back in 2006 'chav pop' did nothing in the charts but now it's absolutely dominating and I reckon it could have easily been a top 3 hit in the UK had it been our entry this year (and possibly sung by somebody other than Daz...like Chipmunk or someone). Still would have bombed at ESC, but interesting that Daz pre-empted the next big musical boom by 4 years!
April 28, 201015 yr I've sent you the link to download it in a personal message, as I don't think we're allowed to post download links here Does this mean you like it?
April 29, 201015 yr Just heard That Sounds Good To Me on Radio 2 :o The new mix too - I wouldn't call it more edgy but it's definitely different with some alternative chord progressions/added bass in parts and Josh sings some notes in a different key. Should be up on iPlayer later, it was on at 10.10am
April 29, 201015 yr I really want this new mix, it sounds like it's on parr with some Steps album tracks now rather than a Fast Food Rockers b-side. Hard to say what will happen at ESC now, there aren't many entries like it this year, so it might stand out. On the other hand, it could so easily come last

April 29, 201015 yr Here it is - final ESC/radio version of the song; zMw5yDIuF0Y The final 30 seconds are quite a bit beefier/better.

Probably, or maybe they like it, but not enough for it to register any points  That radio version is pretty good, but I think I prefer the live performance on Dutch TV. The backing vocals are horrendous though :(
April 30, 201015 yr I definitely prefer the live (final) version to the recorded, in which he sounds like a robot. It's blatantly a very rushed job, the vocals sound very messy.
May 3, 201015 yr I've sent you the link to download it in a personal message, as I don't think we're allowed to post download links here Does this mean you like it? Thank you a lot  to say the truth, my first impression on the song wasn't good, it seemed to me boring. But then I listened to it again, and changed my mind a bit. The song is good, not bad at all. :)
May 3, 201015 yr Josh was EPIC at the party last night :o He can really sing! His dancing hasn't really improved though. And he had really tight trousers on :kink: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4004/4574250414_a92318b06e.jpg
May 4, 201015 yr Do we think if the Tories win that will help us to a glories UK win similar to what happened after Mr Bliar????
May 4, 201015 yr I think it will be perfectly suitable if we finish last in the event of a Conservative victory.
May 4, 201015 yr I think it will be perfectly suitable if we finish last in the event of a Conservative victory. I suspected you'd say that  I can't say I disagree with this sentiment sadly.
May 4, 201015 yr 'Love Shine A Light' was a great Eurovision track - it would've won even if Conservatives had stayed in power in 1997. Then again, we will never know... :o
May 4, 201015 yr It's funny, I'd Rather Jack by The Reynolds Girls came on shuffle on my iPod today (don't ask) and it dawned on me that the production on that almost sounds more contemporary than the production on That Sounds Good To Me. Throw in the backing vocals from Big Fun's Blame It On The Boogie and voila, the perfect Eurovision formula for 2010? Maybe not  It's almost as if they raided the SAW studios and dug out all of their old synthesizers and drum machines just for the occasion... It is still growing on me like a fungus despite all of this though :drama:
May 4, 201015 yr I think it will be perfectly suitable if we finish last in the event of a Conservative victory. Well I still think our entry is blandnest personified, sounding like an Kavana album track circa 1997. I'm enjoying Graham Norton sitting in for Chris Evans on Radio 2's breakfast show where he is playing an old Eurovision winning song followed by a 2010 ESC entry that he rates highly, and asking for responses from the listener (so far he has played Armenia's & Azerbaijan's  entries - I think his 10 selections must be running in alphabetical nation order?) As for the political anthem for Eurovision, then maybe the UK should have sent this fantastic song that escaped yesterday co-written by (two celebrity Tory supporters) Gary Barlow & Rick Astley. XIw3gv_ZaSE I don't know about you, but it could sound very apt come Friday 7th May. (Has visions of Cameron sending this via his mobile to "Rickroll" Brown)
