By theme, I actually meant in terms of colours. :heehee: It seems like blue features in all of them somehow nowadays.

Hopefully your idea doesn't materialise, that would be awful!

And yeah, you know that rock is dead on its arse at the moment when its two biggest hits are years and years old. There's also been Biffy Clyro, 30 Seconds To Mars, OneRepublic, Lostprophets, Vampire Weekend... but none of them higher than no.20!

Plan B - Stay Too Long also has a very rockish vibe to it though and I'm sure that will make it on there.

Pretty good - except:

1. "Empire State of Mind" should've been included instead of "Forever Young"

2. Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" should've been left off

3. Jedward & Justin Bieber are poisonous and is killing disc 1

Not a bad tracklist, it's not exactly been the greatest few months for chart music anyway...how come Broken Heels is on here when Bad Boys never made it beforehand? No Leona Lewis - Happy either...bit of a shocker! Biffy and Florence are interesting inclusions, I thought You've Got The Dirtee Love might have been put on instead, at the end of disc 2 or something...

Very urban orientated tracklist but I guess that reflects the music of the last few months. I'm liking Bad Romance as disc 1, track 1 although it seems a bit 'by default'. There was no obvious lead track this time I don't think...

taken from Nowmusic.com, here are the songs which missed the tracklist which reached the top 20 here...I've bolded the surprising ones;

Alexandra Burke feat. Flo Rida - Bad Boys {1}

Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band - The Official BBC Children In Need Medley {1}

Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name {1}

X Factor Finalists 2009 - You Are Not Alone {1}

Florence + The Machine & Dizzee Rascal - You Got The Dirtee Love (Live At The Brit Awards 2010) {2}

Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind {2}

Leona Lewis - Happy {2}

Westlife - What About Now {2}

Timbaland feat. Nelly Furtado & SoShy - Morning After Dark {6}

JLS - One Shot {6}

Britney Spears - 3 {7}

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss {7}

Alicia Keys - Doesn't Mean Anything {8}

Boyzone - Gave It All Away {9}

Chuckie & LMFAO - Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl {9}

Glee Cast - Halo/Walking On Sunshine {9}

Susan Boyle - Wild Horses {9}

Cheryl Cole - Parachute {10}

Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Cash {10}

Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 - Blah Blah Blah {11}

Miley Cyrus - The Climb {11}

Miley Cyrus - Party In The USA {11}

Daisy Dares You feat. Chipmunk - Number One Enemy {13}

Glee Cast - It's My Life/Confessions Part II {14}

Leona Lewis - I Got You {14}

50 Cent feat. Ne-Yo - Baby By Me {17}

Calvin Harris - Flashback {18}

Mariah Carey - I Want To Know What Love Is {19}

Girls Can't Catch - Echo {19}

Wiley & Chew Fu - Take That {20}

Chuckie and Calvin could have upped the dance quota a bit, missing off Britney, Leona, Westlife and the X Factor Finalists justs seems odd :wacko: especially when it's lacking in pop anyway...choosing not to include 4 No.1 singles is odd to say the least, but I guess they didn't want to overdo the charity records...

I'm shocked Britney didn't make it :( But oh well

So both Don't Stop Believin's made it :o I guess this might be the first time ever something like this has happened on a Now! album, but who knows. I certainly can't remember any since I started buying them anyway.

Not that bothered about the songs left off. I had delusional hope that RATM would have made it but I didn't expect it. Though I would have thought Chuckie/LMFAO, Boyzone and Jay-Z would have made it (with Doesn't Mean Anything being the Alicia Keys song)... apart from that it's about what I expected. Very odd to put Russian Roulette as the last track on Disc 2 as well. :huh:

I will be buying it as I've bought all of them since Now! 37, but this is probably one of the worst-looking tracklists tbh. :(

Apart from about 10 tracks, what a horrid pile of songs :(

I can't believe they've missed off all those, but have two versions of 'Don't Stop Believin'' (Just Glee's version would have been fine! -_-) and Jedward and two Rihanna songs (One would have been fine in favour of either Leona or Britney imo) ERGH! They missed off 'Happy' which is a far bigger number 2 hit than Jedward! :puke:

Ahh well. Still like the tracklist though! :wub:

Leona should have made it on :(
Urprised britney isn't on or leona, now have always been big supporters of them. Having journey on when glee cast is already on was a pointless move IMO. I quite like the tracklisted if I ignore jedward, chiddy bang and wiley.
Probably one of the poorest tracklists yet but they've done a really good job considering what they had to work with. It shows how bad 2010 has been when the first 4 tracks of the first Now of 2010 are from 2009. Gutted Bad Boys didn't make it, Broken Heels seems strange without having had Bad Boys. But then, Now are all over the place with Leona and Britney as well.
Is this the first time two different versions on the same song have appeared on a Now album?
I think so. I remember Eamonn and Frankie being on Now 58 together, but they were technically different songs. I'd have left Glee off *ducks from Glee fans* purely because the Journey version is better and less cringy.

Not great that 2 of the songs are from before 2009.

Of course the 2 songs in question are the original DSB (1982) and DDAO (2008).

Amazing to see Biffy made it, but why Young Forever and ESOM II yet no ESOM? Especially as they put on 2 Rihanna singles ¬_¬
