the best two songs in the top 2 :D

Hera won I think...not a huge shock it has to be said  already #9 in my chart  Didrik is #14!

I have to say, this Danish entry sounds really good in this montage :o

That's weird, they're just playing clips of the Danish and Norwegian entries  They must be actually interested in Eurovision there :o

Edit: It does :o

Wow it has to be said, all three winning songs tonight are very, what you would call "Eurovision."

Who cares if Melodifestivalen is of a slightly lower standard this year when we've got Kempe, G:Son and Hera all going to Eurovision :P

I'm very pleased with tonight's results overall

Iceland - perfect - will still flop though :(

Sweden - perfect, couldn't have gone any better

Norway - would have preferred A1 but still Didrik has EASILY the second best song and definitely gave the best performance

Denmark - the song is actually growing on me hugely now!

 I agree

I don't think toning down the schlager will necessarily make MF any worse though, Salem's song is easily on par with most of last year's MF finalists for me

Two best songs in the superfinal indeed! Glad Hera won, but i'm sure i shall be bored of it by the time of the Semis
"Je ne sais quoi" is good.....but it's no "Is it true" beater

Great song here, my second favourite after Denmark so far I think. :D Reminds me quite a lot of Kate Ryan's 'Who Do You Love' too.

how pleasantly random! Watching through my 2001 contest DVD that I got from eBay in the week, and who should pop up to deliver the Icelandic points?

you should have seen what she was wearing on that night in 2001 - magical :wub: she certainly outclassed the other vote givers! 2:15 in this video says it all;

'100 million people are watching me live, I'll put my hair up quickly and throw on the most cheap looking shirt that I own to present the votes' :cheer:

This woman is my favourite ever vote announcer

 that Norwegian woman looks overjoyed! Mine is Dodo from Austria :D just because it was funny to hear 'hello Dodo' every year :heehee:

and the Greek guy that appears every single year is a favourite too, he always has something positive to say!

and why do Poland always send some serious looking businessman to read out their votes?

but Sarah Dawn Finer singing Sweden's votes last year was notably cringeworthy  Sarah was one fifth of the Swedish jury last year along with former Alcazar member Magnus Carlsson! Germany had H.P. Baxxter from Scooter on their jury :/
