A new week and another new chart topper as British/Norwegian boyband A1 storm 37 places upwards with the brilliant Don’t Wanna Lose You Again, the second single from their successful comeback campaign and their Melodi Grand Prix entry!!! Fellow 90’s boyband Boyzone climb two places to No.2 on their second week around with Gave It All Away which pushes Leddra Chapman’s Story down to No.3 after a week on top…Erik Hassle’s Hurtful slides two spots to No.4 and Finnish singer Nina Lassander climbs two spots to No.5 with Cider Hill!!! Leddra Chapman retains control in the album chart for a fourth consecutive week with the stunning Telling Tales ahead of the Melodi Grand Prix 2010 compilation from Norway which debuts at No.2 this year!!! 1. it's fantastic - such a grower too - it's insane how much it's grown on me in the last week :o

8. No.3 is almost certainly its peak :( amazing song but there are others I like more at the moment

10. I see what you mean, I'd expected it to be top 3/5 in my chart by this point but after it's massive climb on week two, it's slowed down a tad - maybe it won't be a hit after all!?!

25. it's shaping up to be massive, probably only #3 though behind the charity thing and Jedward though...

30. I did really like Say (All I Need) - probably more than Stop & Stare in fact - I have it on CD single too :D Secrets is great!

44. This is really decent, very infectious, I've never been a huge Goldfrapp fan, even A&E only got to #27 or something in my chart and looking back, I wouldn't have put it any higher now...I listen to it sometimes and I still don't click properly with it

It's probably worked out for the best as I've grown to really like this song since. If I'd entered this year at the time it made the HET30 it would've probably made low top 20 for me. Now it looks like it's going to be a much bigger hit. :w00t:

I find these two songs quite disappointing to be honest. Moreso Alphabeat's song. 'HIMH' isn't a good single choice and I'm convinced it will bomb in the UK. They should've gone with 'DJ' (if it's the song I'm thinking of). I could imagine that track being more popular with the UK public but alas the record company looks set to do more damage than good. As for JLS, despite others saying how amazing 'One Shot' is, I think 'Everybody In Love' is still easily their best song to date. 'One Shot' would sound better with a dance beat over those synths rather than a half speed hip hop beat. Doesn't work imo.

 

30. OneRepublic - Secrets (35) (CR-35-30)

 

This is a brilliant track. Their second most successful single for me behind 'Apologize'. Great to see you starting to chart this. ^_^
