Oh, was this Timbaland produced in the end? AMAZING.

EDIT: Appaza not! Anders Bagge, Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman...Rich might be interested to know that Bagge was also part of the team behind Cyndi Lauper - Into The Nightlife!

I now see Azerbaijan in with a really good chance of winning Eurovision with that track and its soaring chorus. Obviously songs have to be around 3:00 in length but I'd have preferred the chorus to continue rather than almost abruptly finish at the end of the track. It'd make the song roughly 3:12 in length otherwise. :D

I agree entirely with this sentiment...

I have to say, this is pretty instant for me! I would say I loved Fairytale as much as Is It True last year, whereas I seem to have a similar view on this to the one you have of Fairytale - nothing comes close to this for me this year!

My goodness, it's along the lines of the standard Ryan Tedder formula, but it sounds like Ryan Tedder to the next level - so fantastically contemporary yet majestic and orchestral! I think this just about edges Keep On Walking for me!

Nothing else comes close - probably because all other confirmed entries are so crap in comparison.

'Keep On Walking'? I don't understand the love for that song. The chorus is so flat it's like an extension of the verse. First time I listened to it, I was waiting for the chorus. Next thing I know the song had finished. Our survey says XX XX. Sweden would've been lucky to get top 10 at Eurovision with such a non-song. They made a wise decision to choose 'This Is My Life' even if it is the run-of-the-mill generic Eurovision ballad. Sweden, Norway and Ireland could all end up stealing points off each other - I don't see any of them winning because the three entries are too alike for any one of them to stand out.

Norway and Ireland are going for the same sort of audience, but Sweden's going for a different one - more the sort that voted for Iceland last year.

On the topic, Riiiiiiiich, can you Neon Cloud this for me please? :kink: The ending is the only thing that slightly ruins this for me :(

Keep On Walking is NOT a non-song!!! :drama: it's stunning, the chorus is anthemic and stands head and shoulders over the verse, it's sang about 9 times, you can barely miss it :heehee: Maybe it requires a few more listens :P Sweden's ballad isn't at all similar to Ireland/Norway's in my opinion :o

I had a go but it didn't work at all well because of her ad-libs in the final chorus and the general multi-layers of the track. Dance music is much easier to edit as there are more suitable breaks in the beat :heehee:

I am not so sure about this entry how well will done. It is just a little to bit MOR for me, too bland... I don't see it as a winner, there are better songs IMO.

What's this? Is someone requesting a re-edit? I'm usually good at this type of thing. What exactly do you want? :D

I wanted a version where the ending has the chorus continue as you said, rather than just a sudden premature ending :(

Tyron wants a re-edit of Drip Drop with an extra/extended final chorus rather than its current abrupt finish :P

I've been known to 'extend' MySpace demos which are either unfinished or not published in full (i.e. only a 2 minute clip) into full 3 minute songs - but I usually do it with dance songs, or electro pop.

How did the Neon Cloud edit of The Truth turn out? I'm still patiently waiting for Jasmine to GET BACK TO DOING WHAT SHE'S CLEARLY AMAZING AT* rather than sod about writing educational songs for toddlers.

*Standard disclaimer when talking about Jasmine's amazingness: Hot Loving aside

Not well :( I tried to repeat the chorus but even so it sounded like a mess and a clearly unfinished track, whereas I just about got away with it with Watch The Sun Come Up, although I did miss off the fantastic middle 8 which I didn't know existed until the full radio edit leaked :drama:

The Truth could have been the coolest pop song ever sent to BJSC, but alas I got there first with Backseat :kink: She MUST leak it!!!

I'm literally this close to either asking Mr PJ if he knows her, or attempting to find out where she lives. I'VE BEEN WAITING NEARLY TWO YEARS NOW.

Do it, before it starts to sound dated and becomes the biggest missed opportunity ever :drama:

I just listened to The Truth demo again. AMAZING. Then Hot Loving played. Less amazing.

What a comedown. Poor you :(

Actually, it's worse. I think it's regrowing :(

I even preferred Bon Iver :P

Out of 25 entries, Hot Loving is the only one I rated below 6/10 (it got 3 to be exact). Skinny Love got 6/10, everything else got 8 or above.
