Posted January 31, 201015 yr http://i48.tinypic.com/2dtzkly.jpg Welcome to the latest edition of the singles chart that shows the songs that Buzzjackers and the rest of the country have been enjoying this week, compiled from sales, airplay and multichart data. Owl City made it to the top on his second week on the chart last week, and looked very likely to keep the top spot this week, although JLS, Alexandra and Alicia Keys posed challenges. So here is the full top 40 for the week. Asterisks are bullets, and these are given to songs that are generally on their way "up" the chart. This week / Last week / Artist - Song (Peak) (Weeks) 1 1 Owl City – Fireflies* (2x1) (3) 2 3 Alexandra Burke – Broken Heels* (2) (7) 3 5 3Oh!3 feat. Nelly Furtado & SoShy – Morning After Dark (11) (9) 40 NE Mika – Blame It On The Girls* (40) (1) So Owl City made it 2 weeks at the top, and despite having peaked in sales, Alexandra Burke manages to climb to #2 in the Hot 40 this week. Elsewhere in the top ten, JLS have already outpeaked their previous two singles with One Shot, and look likely to keep climbing, while Alicia Keys climbs into the top ten at the expense of Glee, who could only manage one week. The highest new entry this week comes from Timbaland and Katy Perry, with other new arrivals from Leona Lewis, Rihanna, Sugababes and Mika who makes it purely from airplay. Finally for this week, the Black Eyed Peas manage to equal Lady GaGa's record for weeks on the chart. Come back next week to see if they can hold on and claim the record for themselves. Some Youtube videos coming up but other than that, have a good week everyone! Edited January 31, 201015 yr by Peter30

January 31, 201015 yr Thanks Peter :cheer: Good to see Telephone on the way back up, but not so good to see Glee out of the top 10 :( Thank god that Jedward will be nowhere near #1 here next week :kink:
February 1, 201015 yr Owl City should remain #1 this week. #2 or maybe still #1 on sales Most likely #1 again on airplay #2 maybe on multichart? Edited February 1, 201015 yr by BrayFish
February 1, 201015 yr That would be cool, I would like it to be #1 on multichart eventually (when was the last male multichart #1?)
February 1, 201015 yr Why the low debut for Rihanna. Because it's doing well on the multichart, but OK on sales (it's not much lower than the official debut) and there's no airplay to speak of yet. Expect it to climb FAST in the next couple of weeks.
February 1, 201015 yr Where can I find this multichart? Here in the Personal chart thread. Anyone that posts a personal chart counts towards it. Yes that includes yours :heehee:
