You see this is why I'm glad I'm a total cynic of both these songs. People here are arguing about who's got the biggest names on it ... a bit like 'my dad's bigger than your dad'. Pathetic ... and so are both of these songs ... but if they raise extra funds for Haiti then good on them.

 

As for raising awareness ... bollocks! In a few months when a natural, geological disaster happens elsewhere ... sadly ... unless you're personally involved ... Haiti will be forgotten.

It's dreadful. The rapping is just awful. Lil Wayne and T-Pain use autotune. People shouldn't buy if even though it for Haiti Relief they should donate to the charity itself I like did. The awful version I have heard and We Are The World was awful song anyway. Sorry if I sounded bitter.

I love this song, it's a variety of different musicians on it. My only issue is Wyclef Jean's strange wailing. Why is he doing it?

I'm merely just pointing out that the WATW25 does have big names on it. Still doesn't make it any good though. ;)

Lots of people off YouTube have created one, and IMO it's miles better than the remake.
