March 25, 201015 yr I dont think they will corss each other out if they arent performed staright after each other, i think the ballads will stand out more if there mixed between lively numbers so we will have to wait and see what the draw is like.
March 26, 201015 yr Not a great video but niamh looks well and she loos to have lost weight since she did the eurosong performance.
March 26, 201015 yr Id b delighted to see it go top 5, of course id love Ireland to win, but its been ages since we done well and a while since we came out of the semis so coming of the semi in itself would be great.

April 16, 201015 yr Three weeks into the Oikotimes prediction game thing, and Ireland are in the lead :o I do like the song, but I find that a bit unexpected. I think at the end of the prediction last year, they said the UK & France were going to tie for 1st place
April 16, 201015 yr Well its apositive sign for the song which is good, for now im just concentrating on Ireland qualifying for the final and if thats happens i will start focusiing on the final more.
May 3, 201015 yr I watched a clip of Niamh singing at the Belgian (?) Eurovision concert. Quite good. :o I thought her voice was a bit shaky at the Bosnian NF, but it was flawless in Belgium. And apparently there will be backing vocals and dry ice during her ESC performance. I just hope the backing singers can actually sing. :(
May 3, 201015 yr Dry ice is like that stuff that looks like mist/smoke when a performer is on stage, but it doesn't irritate the throat (that's the idea anyway). Anyway, Niamh was an utter legend at the party last night, I'm sure she's going to turn out a fantastic vocal, and she has so much charisma, they just need to make the staging look good!
May 3, 201015 yr Ya good Staging will definitly help and add to the effcet of the song, has the song changed much on her latest performances comparing to when she won eurosong? Edited May 3, 201015 yr by Aphrodite
May 4, 201015 yr Doesn't seem so, but there is an amazing new dance remix (which I don't think will be used, but anything is possible...)
May 4, 201015 yr This song grows and grows on me, i heard it on the radio today and i love it, i was looking at some irish entries in eurovision on you tube today and how Brain Kennedy did so well for Ireland i dont know, sinead mulvey and black diaisy were a hell of alot better, im still baffled how we didnt qualify last year, and on the back of that im slightly weiry of our chanaces this year.

Brian's song was actually very good I thought, with a strong chorus/sentiment and stood out massively in 2006 where there actually weren't that many ballads. I found it quite rousing, particularly in the final chorus and was pleased that it did so well, particularly in the 100% televoting era.
May 4, 201015 yr AT the time of course i was delighted to see ireland do so well but it was never a fave of mine, the irish entries have been hot and miss the last few years that was probably in the middle for me but slightly edging to miss.
May 4, 201015 yr Ireland 2006 was pleasant. I didn't like it, but it was easy listening. How it managed to score higher than Norway is beyond me...
May 14, 201015 yr Niamh will be performing "It's For You" tonight on the Late Late Show (again :P). I wonder if she has new backing singers. I hope so. :P
