They wouldn't. They would have congratulated her - and him and appreciated what they had. There is nothing malicious in them.

Seeing them all so ungracious on the video and reading that, I'm so glad that Darius stopped that little dynasty's plans in their track.

How graceful did they look together, and this was only accentuated by Rolando's impersonation of a chimpanzee dancing with Bernie at the other end :lol: Bless him for trying though :)

Makes me almost regret that Darius refused other shows because they weren't directly related to singing or acting. Sometimes it's a disadvantage that he's so principled. I'm sure he'd have been wonderful on SCD. For a big guy, he's very light footed and graceful in his movements and he also has all the passion for latin. I thought he was amazing in the Havana scene in G&D.

 

Someone said that in the quartet Katherine and Darius seemed to be working the cameras and Bernie and Rolando the audience. To me, from what I remember from the times I've watched it, Darius and Rolando looked as if they were trying to do both and encompass the audience at two levels in the studio and the audience at home via the cameras.
