She certainly didn't seem to like Darius - weird because in popstars she really did.

If I remember correctly, she cried after she found out(I think while he was singing his early version of Chrysalis to Butterfly) and was comforted by Noel I believe.

 

Had a bit of good news, as I won a small poker tournament at the local casino last night. Only half as many players as normal, but the £580 means I won't need to worry about the phone bill coming

Rolando was on the alan meers shows this morning, he talked about PSTOS and how he had learfned a lot about POP ETC ETC but he didnt mention D winning.

And Katharine (according to the Independent) wanted Bernie to win.

Well, tough. Bernie should have upped her game in the final and Katherine should have made sure she tested her strengths and gave her the opportunity to showcase them in the duet like Rolando did with Darius. B & K were both at fault and Bernie was unconvincing, whereas Darius shone solo and as a duettist.

I knew she would say that because fans on her site were backing Bernie and she wasnt going to go against them was she.She is on dancing on ice tonite with andrew lloyd webber hopefully she is only singing but I wonder what she has said to him in private. Well if rumours are true and KJ was up for the lead in LND and didn't get it, she can't be all that pally.

I really like her. She's just too biased to see that Darius was the best on the night. I, on the other hand, am not AT ALL biased.

What ever you think of her voice, IMO she doesn't have the calibre to be a leading lady, not expressive enough. Sue

I find I like her less and less..

I've been on these kind of forums since PI and just about every result gets argued against vehemently.

 

It was a really tight vote which went against the apparently shoo-in.

Why then was there no outcry this time of "I couldn't get through to vote for ...." "One of so and so's lines went down " "He/she only won because the Scots/Irish/Welsh voted for him/her."

They were the dogs which for once failed to bark.

 

The consensus from a read around forums, blogs, facebook, twitter etc. was that on the night Darius deserved to win.

this is what i have read too, I feel its the truth, but it does seem to be the consensus, even from people supporting Bernie, I suppose the voting patterns helped, its not the same type of show as X factor etc, people seem to have voted far more honestly on performance. I am glad I did too(even if I would have voted regardless), it makes winning all the more wonderful.

If Darius hadn't been good, then it would have been an insult to him and the other contestants to vote for him to win. I was more than happy to vote for him voting and felt the result was the right one.

I agree....if he hadn't had been good he'd have got a token 1 vote and I'd have voted for who I felt was best....that's if I'd have voted at all.

Can you imagine ..if he had been terrible..the sheer embarrasment of it, you're right, as it is he is the rightful winer and has been up to going on to show that.

I don't think it'd have helped him at all if his talent didn't go in that direction as he'd be struggling now. If we had voted when he wasn't the best, he could end up going in a direction which wouldn't benefit him. Having said that, I do like the non classical songs he writes but it's his life and up to him which direction he chooses to go in.
