wonderful!!!! I really cant gt enough of this performance, he really does wonders in terms to bringing Opera into the realms of enjoyability,

We're his most stalwart fans. Of course we want him to win and we'll do our utmost for him, as always.

 

Now I think a barrier has been lifted a little and if Darius did win, there wouldn't be too much of an outcry.

Im like PIP cant get enough of him singing this, his voice in this is sublime at least to me.Keep listening to it.

It is a tremendous performance. I still like his version of Nessun Dorma though. Probably because I'd never heard it sung like his version before.
OMG i'm soooooo nervous about this Friday, we all know that Darius is as Awesome as ever :yahoo: , but i'm just worried that the judges are going to pick on him even more thsi week :angry: !..............Also i've heard that there will be 2 going out this week,leaving just thye remaining 2,anyone else heard this? :unsure:

they may pick oj him, but they cant get rid of him - thats down to votes, so hopefully he will get enough!

 

I really am nervous for him, I am wondrnig what songs they will have - I bet Marcella gets one to show her hard vocals, Kym..one that doesnt involve any umpphh to it..

Wished we knew what they were singing. Mind you I suppose we might worry even more then.

That was a long time for Booth to be in hospital, so glad he's improving. The family must have been really worried, and Darius must have been under an even bigger strain with everything else that was going on as well. No wonder we didn't hear anything, he mustn't have known whether he was coming or going.

Glad Avril and Rachel will be there to support him on Friday. Hope we see them, the cameras usually do a close up of family members etc. don't they? Hope they manage to sneak out and vote. Sue

Trishiboo has posted on Facebook that she received a tweet saying Darius is singing the Champagne Aria from Mozart's Don Giovanni.

 

Not an aria I've ever heard, but at least in the right key! It's fast & tricky imo! :unsure: If he can pull this off it will be very impressive and hard not to vote for him! :thumbup: :P

If D is singing this, I think he'll nail it, but I don't think it's a huge vote winner, so we will really need to get our dialling fingers in action this week I feel.

 

Although Marcella did well with her previous German song, I don't think they've done her any favours, making her sing again in German. I wonder what language Kym and Bernie will sing?

 

I don't feel she has been as good overall as D, but I feel Bernie might go on to win :( Rolando keeps raving about her, and she is popular anyway. She is good, but I don't feel she deserves to win. If not D, then even though I am not keen on her, I would say Marcella would deserve it more than Bernie!

I'd have liked him to have something which would appeal to the general public. I don't feel this will. I bet the girls get ones that do.

comments from those knowing about opera, nowhere to breath. difficult enough for professionals. if they want Darius blue and writhing on the floor.

Kipper and done up spring to mind.

 

If he nails this he will deserve to win this show.
