She was shocked by the result. Bernie has an incredible range.

I also get that impression. That is also ditto on KJ site so will she direct her comments to the satisfaction of her fans.

I didn't think she particularly favoured Bernie, but she, like the mentors never once mentined how good D's voice is, though she did say it was deep. I think this was more of an advert for her baby clothes line and a thank you to her fans for their support, rather than a discussion of the result of the show. Nice to see anyway though, so thanks for posting link BT.

interesting, actually i read into that she thought bernie wasnt as good a smarcella...then qualifyiing it with adding bernie is good, glad she mentioned that bernie has bee a singer for yonks and older, so her voice would have developed fully

 

and an odd thing to say, darius challenges himself by choosing difficult arias.....um, he had no choice in it, if he hadnt chosen the given onelast week, he would made himslef look bad imo but atleast she is aknowledging they are challenging

If Darius had the choice would he have chosen to learn a new language and tackle a song normally sung by tenors - Granada?

It did cross my mind that they were being given harder arias because they were the better singers, not as a bias against them. But from the comments of the judges I'm not sure whether I was right or wrong

I think, from watching the vts, that they had him in to do a popstars on him. It is just that his are the only vts to show a contestant in a bad light. I think the choice of aria has often been that as well. One out of five suitable and that one made more difficult by him not having the character to act against. I can't say I've enjoyed this as such as I've been too wound up half the time.

I get so wound up that I miss lots of things first time round. It's not till I replay it that I take it all in and then I realise just how biased they are towards Darius and get all wound up again! Must say that half of me is really dreading tomorrow. I don't think I can stand them being horrible again. Sue

I hope it's relief and not disappointment. It would be just so much easier if he were given a fair chance.

The show is shorter tomorrow, one hour instead of hour and a half.think I read somewhere that the voting time could be shorter also so thought I would mention it in case that is so and we are ready.

it was an hour last week, although the voting time seemed longer.. or that may have been me voting faster..

I wonder if the audience figures will drop, masterchef starts tonite at 8.30 but tomorrow the BBC is putting it directly against PSTOs at 9 pm.

and the live eastenders..I only hope that its the bernie voters who will be watching eastenders or masterchef!!

So do I. Think it will be the older public and possibly the opera fans watching masterchef but tht leaves the younger ones and now that Danny from Mcfly have gone perhaps some will return because of he alternatives.
